The Holy Spirit and the Little Moment of Isaiah's birth pangs and their corresponding fulfillment in the New Testament. We identify the source and the fulfillment of the little moment in the eschatological sufferings. The birth pangs of Daniel (the great tribulation) and the correlation and connection with the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in A.D. 70.

The Holy Spirit's work in the first century involved leading the body of Christ through the period of the birth pangs of the coming age to come. These sufferings were Messianic and unique to that time. They are considered "eschatological sufferings". In this podcast the Old Testament background of these sufferings are discussed.

Habakkuk chapter two speaks of the shaking of heaven and earth in a little while. This prophecy is cited in Hebrews chapter 12 to describe the shaking of heaven and earth which was already underway in the apostolic age in the first century. Much ignored in bible prophetic teaching is the "little while" time for the end times events. The message highlights that importance to equip listeners with a correct Biblical perspective.

The Tabernacle of David which had been torn down was rebuilt through the last days work of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians Chapter Two presents a new humanity united in Christ by the Holy Spirit. The law of Moses created divisions within the people of God and those who were outside of the covenant. In Christ humanity is recreated to reflect the oneness of Christ and the Father.

In the letter to the Ephesians Paul develops the world mission of the gospel expressed through his Jewish "We" and Gentile "You" antithesis to demonstrate the unity of the Spirit in bringing all into one body in Christ. Divisions of the body of Christ into human designated groups is anti-gospel and anti-God.

The Holy Spirit worked beginning on Pentecost of Acts two to bring about the resurrection and restoration of Israel. This means that Judah and Israel were coming together in one body by the cross. This theme is further developed in Paul's epistle to the Ephesians.

Study of the resurrection of Judah and Israel with the Gentiles through the Spirit of God. Ezekiel, Daniel and Hosea present Israel in sin and unrepentant before God. They are found dead in their graves of sin and iniquity. Against this background the doctrine of the resurrection in Israel is taught.

Israel was re-created and gathering in the last days, in Christ. God brought them under the One Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ. He made a covenant of peace with them, reconciling them in one body in the fullness of the times, i.e. the last days of Moses. The work of the Holy Spirit breathed upon the dry bones, cleansed them from all their iniquities and brought them into the Heavenly land of Jesus Christ, who with the Father is also the new sanctuary.

Israel's new birth, new creation, restoration and resurrection is carried forth into the New Testament. Ample evidence supporting the prophecies of Ezekiel 36-37 are found in the gospel of John, Acts and Ephesians 2. The apostles left no doubt that Israel's hope and salvation as well as that of the nations is found in Christ.

Ezekiel prophesied the re-joining, i.e. the regathering of Israel into the land under Christ. The restoration was completed in through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This is the earnest or miraculous work of the Spirit confined to that last days.

Israel is reborn, recreated, resurrected and regathered in and by the Holy Spirit within the last days. The Holy Spirit is the common thread that runs through each of these events. It determines their limit, scope and nature.

The gathering of Israel is said to occur during the time they are born again and created new. This work came through the Holy Spirit in the last days of the Mosaic age. This eliminates 1948 for the "rebirth of Israel" or an alleged 400 year coming of the Lord prophecy in 2019

The Holy Spirit supplied miracles to the true sons of God. Those without miracles were called "natural men" who separated themselved not having the Spirit. Both were originally in the house of Abraham but one gets cast out.

The work of the Holy Spirit is fundamental to understanding the meaning of at home in the body and present with the Lord. The interim between the two involve the earnest work of the Spirit.

What is the significance of the Holy Spirit in accomplishing the resurrection? Romans chapter eight gives contextual clues to the manner and time of how the resurrection was accomplished.

The Holy Spirit's work involved the accomplishing of the resurrection. As the work of the Holy Spirit involved the miraculous, it was being accomplishing by the earnest of the Spirit during the apostolic era.

The promise God made with Abraham would be fulfilled through the Holy Spirit. Paul taught this promise would also come upon the nations through the faith. The reception of the promise cannot extend beyond the scope of the Holy Spirit's ministry which in this case was miraculous and limited to the time of the first century.
