Life has been challenging lately. We all run into issues dealing with the daily grind which sometimes leaves us feeling a little "lost"! I had a tough time last week so this a hybrid episode made from a previous quality bonus show from May 2023! Its been updated for KERB with new "drops" and slightly different music (dropped 2 tracks and added a new band from Australia, their name is ALVIAN BLU with their soft chill track "Changes") This show fit my life well. Car problems, work problems, life problems, sick with a migraine and could not make it to my step brothers funeral over the weekend. Today is a better day and all problems resolved (for now..lol) Its my birthday today! Unfortunately death is all around us from loved ones to high profile figures to wars or even school children. Its a sad part of life folks but we can also celebrate ones life as well. Honor their memory and contributions to the world. Today on KERB 99.9 and Halshack  Radio on Zeno FM for the Shackjam 48 (The DEATH TONES) We are having a tribute show for the passing of my step brother Michael Davison. He was a beloved family man and local community member. His death was tragic as all death is. Its sad and heart breaking but we must all learn to move on. We had a blast on Labor Day Weekend! We had 4000 plus listeners this past Monday!! THANK YOU!!!!! We've got a few new DJ's on the team now to help out! Happy Birthday to me!! Its our 1 year anniversary on KERB! We're bringing in new acts like Felicity and The Funeral Portrait for our birthday celebration! All new songs and all new bands for the show! We've been making connections for over a decade helping bands. It's time we start helping them directly through the show. Ive been scouring the planet high and low for the past 4 years hand curating acts of my own selection and saving them back for a special time. This takes many many years and lots of work also multiple business connections to find the level of talent that we represent. The past several years all this fantastic talent (hundreds of bands) has been coming directly to us mostly through Reverbnation. Those selections are drying up. Its time to move forward with my own curation as I did the 7 years prior to Reverbnation. This show I hand picked 7 new acts and brought in 4 regulars with some new tunes.
