James And Mariah Learn To Date

The Fifth, yes fifth, episode of this sweet couple talking bad dating books and awkward dating advice.  Today we take a short detour from discussing the book (we desperately need this little vacation episode).  We take this opportunity to: -talk about James' pants. -celebrate the fact that we've made it this far, maybe share a little, non-alcoholic, bubbly. -thank the people that made this whole podcasting thing possible. -check our email! (Yay! We got an email!)  

Episode 4 of this awkwardly adorable couple talking about the awful and delusional Dating Advice book- Swipe Right. The Book - Swipe Right The Author - Levi Lusko Their Opinion - ...is it too much to handle? Couples Therapy - We talk demons and body art...weird things have happened lately Book Review - Did Mariah literally throw the book this week? Yes. Will we continue to read this book? Listen to find out. Bad Dating Advice - Pick up lines, Axe body spray, and 13-year-old James.. Baby Corner - Baby Liam may be becoming a dog *Warning* This chapter is named 'Sex mean Scars', so inevitably we will have to use that word a lot.

The third episode, of the, probably not so popular, romance podcast about lame Christian dating books. The Book - Swipe Right The Author - Levi Lusko Their Opinion - Yikes! (it's getting worse..why are we reading this, again?) Couples Therapy - James gets pooped on? James reads "inspirational" quotes from his co-workers. Mariah really doesn't do much. Book Review - James and Mariah are jaded by Levi's continued crappy writing and pop culture references. James is especially uncomfortable with this chapter, as it is primarily about sex. Bad Dating Advice - Mariah gets angry about dating advice aimed at women. Baby Corner - Baby Liam visited his first pumpkin patch, turned 8 months old and is becoming especially opinionated.  

In the second episode of the smash* hit podcast, the best* couple in the world discuss Christian dating books that could be defined as problematic. The Book – Swipe Right The Author – Levi Lusko Their Opinion – Good Golly Miss Molly (Not good) Couples Therapy – Mariah talks budgets and babies. James only does podcast stuff now. Book Review – Mariah is disgusted by Levi's dumb dad jokes. Levi talks about sex and makes James uncomfortable, again. They read about the story of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but with a little bit of a modern twist. Mariah is outrage, that's right, outrage that Levi insinuates that Jacob was a millennial. Bad Dating Advice – James rambles for 10 minutes about some dating advice from Tumblr, and then generalizes the entire community. Baby Corner – Their baby is learning to crawl, and the finer points of comedy. *I use the word "smash" and "best" very liberally

In this premier episode, a married couple discuss a dating book for teens and young adults. So, stuff they don't know anything about The Book - Swipe Right The Author - Levi Lusko Their Opinion - Pretty Lame, but has good intentions Couples Therapy - James thinks he's being bullied for liking Star Wars. Mariah likes to hang with their baby. Neither of them know anything about dating in 2017. Bad Dating Advice - Submarining is a thing, I guess. Baby Corner - Their kid is on his way to hipsterdom, likes PSLs, sitting, and biting people. Just like a hipster.
