  • Everyone - Week 1

    06/04/2021 Duração: 48min

Easter Weekend — Everyone    Easter is a reminder that God always has the last word.       Everyone: everybody, every one.        Romans 3   22 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.   23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.        Acts 2:21 — And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.     Romans 1:16 — For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.       We have a Savior who will stop for everyone!       Luke 23:41 — We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.     Is it you?       Do you need the Savior to stop for you today?

What do I have that the devil wants?     What should I be fighting for?     Who should I be fighting for?     Have I lost my fight?         Jude 1     1 This letter is from Jude, a brother of James. I am a servant owned by Jesus Christ. I am writing to you who have been chosen by God the Father. You are kept for Jesus Christ.    2 May you have much of God’s loving-kindness and peace and love.   3 Dear friends, I have been trying to write to you about what God did for us when He saved us from the punishment of sin. Now I must write to you and tell you to fight hard for the faith which was once and for all given to the holy people of God.    4 Some sinful men have come into your church without anyone knowing it. They are living in sin and they speak of the loving-favor of God to cover up their sins. They have turned against our only Leader and Lord, Jesus Christ. Long ago it was written that these people would die in their sins.   8 In the same way, these men go on dreaming and sinning against their bodies.

Mark 8   34 He called the crowd and his disciples together and said to them, “If anyone wants to follow me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.    35 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it. But whoever loses his life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it.     Have I given my life to the Lord?     Am I living my life for the Lord?       When we come to Christ, we’re no longer the most important person in the world to us; Christ is. Instead of living only for ourselves, we have a higher goal: to live for Jesus. — Billy Graham     What no is keeping me from my yes? Galatians 5   17 The sinful self wants what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit wants what is against the sinful self. They are always fighting against each other, so that you don’t do what you really want to do.    19 The wrong things the sinful self does are clear: committing sexual sin, being morally bad, doing all kinds of shameful things,    20 worshiping false gods, taking part in witc

Titus 2:11-14 (NIV)  11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.     12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,    It teaches us to say no. Truth and Grace came from Jesus. King James mentions deny.    13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,    14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.       Titus 2:12 — Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. 11/03/2021 Duração: 37min

John 5:2-15   2 Inside the city, near the Sheep Gate, was the pool of Bethesda, with five covered porches. 3 Crowds of sick people—blind, lame, or paralyzed—lay on the porches. 5 One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?” 7 “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.” 8 Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” 9 Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking! But this miracle happened on the Sabbath, 10 so the Jewish leaders objected. They said to the man who was cured, “You can’t work on the Sabbath! The law doesn’t allow you to carry that sleeping mat!” 11 But he replied, “The man who healed me told me, ‘Pick up your mat and walk.’” 12 “Who said such a thing as that?” they demanded. 13 The man didn’t know, for Jesus had dis

Shut The Door    2 Kings 4 [KJV] 1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.    2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.    3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.   4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.    5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.   6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a ve

Joshua 3:17 — The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stopped in the middle of the Jordan and stood on dry ground, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground.     Joshua 4   3 and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.   4 So Joshua called together the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe,    5 and said to them, “Go over before the ark of the Lord your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites,    6 to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’    7 tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off.

And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”   33 But he replied, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.”   34 Jesus answered, “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”     54 Then seizing him, they led him away and took him into the house of the high priest. Peter followed at a distance.    55 And when some there had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter sat down with them.    56 A servant girl saw him seated there in the firelight. She looked closely at him and said, “This man was with him.”   57 But he denied it. “Woman, I don’t know him,” he said.   58 A little later someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” “Man, I am not!” Peter replied.   59 About an hour later another asserted, “Certainly this fellow was w

Middle: The position of being among or in the midst of something.      Mark 6   39 Jesus then told his disciples to make all the people divide into groups and sit down on the green grass.   44 The number of men who were fed was five thousand.    45 At once Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to Bethsaida, on the other side of the lake, while he sent the crowd away.    46 After saying good-bye to the people, he went away to a hill to pray.    47 When evening came, the boat was in the middle of the lake, while Jesus was alone on land.    48 He saw that his disciples were straining at the oars, because they were rowing against the wind; so sometime between three and six o'clock in the morning, he came to them, walking on the water. He was going to pass them by,   49 but they saw him walking on the water. “It's a ghost!” they thought, and screamed.    50 They were all terrified when they saw him. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging.    47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”   48 Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”   49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.”    50 Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.   51 “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”   52 “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.     What do you want me to do for you?       Luke 8   42 ...As Jesus was on his way, the crowds alm
