Deardra will be interviewing 2003 AMERICAN IDOL winner, Ruben Studdard, who is appearing in a play with Frenchie Davis, also an AMERICAN IDOL contestant who went on to appear in Rent. Both Ruben and Frenchie are on tour appearing in Ain't Misbehavin. Known as the velvet Teddy Bear, Studdard will be appearing at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, May 16th.

Deardra interviews Annette St John, a native New Yorker who performs the music of jazz, blues, gospel and well known standards. Annette has performed at The Apollo, Blue Note, Cotton Club, The Village Vanguard, Tavern on the Green, Birdland and many other clubs. She has worked with artists like Seleno Clark, Lonnie Youngblood and Dr. Lonnie Smith. Her latest CD is entitled: Inside: Live At Smoke

Vocalist Bobby Curtis will appear on Topically Yours with host Deardra Shuler, wherein they will talk about his career. Known as an eclectic romance artist, Curtis sings in the style reminiscent of Lou Rawls and Arthur Prysock. He has appeared in casinos and resorts throughout the Tri State area and has worked with the likes of Rosemary Clooney, Dolly Parton, Lou Rawls, Eddie Murphy, Chubby Checkers, Jackie Wilson, etc.

New York's first black female radio DJ, Vy Higginsen, and creator of "Mama I Want To Sing," will be talking to Deardra Shuler about her upcoming play "Sing Harlem Sing," a new musical written by Ms. Higginsen, directed by Ken Wydro and running at Harlem's Dempsey Theatre starting on Friday, April 17th.

Deardra talks with producer, bandleader and percussionist Jimmy Delgado. Jimmy has established himself among a pantheon of well-known percussionists and Salsa bandleaders such as Orch Cimarron, Eddie Palmieri, Ray Barretto, Willie Colon & Ruben Blades. He worked with Ismael Quintana with Louie Cruz’s Orch, Tipica Novel, Tipica 73 & others. Jimmy will talk about his career and the upcoming Lehman Center for the Performing Arts tribute to vocalist Ismael Quintana on Saturday, April 25th.

Deardra will be interviewing actress Dorothi Fox and Enagic Executive, Desmond Gibson, about Kangen Water.
