36. Building a State Championship Team from the Ground up with Coach Karin Keeney

A graduate of Northeast Missouri State University (B.S.E.); she played four years of volleyball and one year of softball as a student-athlete. Karin has dedicated her career to coaching for 30 years with the last 23 years as a Head Coach. She has earned four state championships at Hebron High School (2004, 2010, 2015, 2016) as well as numerous district titles, bi-district titles and state tournament appearances. In 2014 Karen Became the first female Athletic Director in San Antonio's history. Karen has been a member of the hosting state conference committee twice and worked for THSADA as the secretary from Spring of 2006-2010. She then served as the Region 8 Director and vice-president. In 2013, Karen was named THSADA's Athletic Director of the year. He remained at North until 2008, when he took on his new role as MISD Director of Athletics. Pratt received his Bachelor of Science in History at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1993 and his Masters of Education in Educational Administration from Texas A&M-Commerce in 2003.
