Joining Mick Coyle on Dad's Hour this week was comedian Jake Mills and Iain Christie from the Royal Court is back from his yearly stag do. This week, we spoke about Iain's yearly stag do and how it sounded like a 'Dad's weekend' instead of a 'lads weekend'. We also talked about a story in the papers today about two twin boys who go to the same school and how one of the boys likes to wear dresses. Is it controversial? Or is it just what makes them happy? The Dad's discuss. And not to mention we have an extra special Dad's Hour guest that Iain Christie managed to guess first time! Listen here to find out who it is, it's a cracker.

Mick Coyle is back this week for Dad's Hour and is joined by comedian Sam Avery and Dave Barnicle from the Brink. This week we spoke about how sorry really is the hardest word according to a recent survey and how do you get your kids to apologise sincerely? Also, who's your favourite child? Recent studies show that apparently the eldest is the favourite. We asked Sam and Dave who their favourite child was.

David Easson was in for Mick Coyle on this week's Dad's Hour and as a non-Dad, he was able to give his side of the story when it come to kids. He was joined by Dad's Iain Christie & Che Burnley and with the Grand National this week, it seemed fitting to talk about the best places to spend your hangover after you are given the 'free pass' to go on a night out. Also on the agenda, dropping your children for the first time. Safe to say the answers were certainly interesting.

Joining Mick and Iain on Dad's Hour this week was the Milktray Man himself, Patrick McBride. This week, they were talking about how we're apparently not getting enough sleep, and as Dad's, this is something they know all too well. Also, how many pints is acceptable before you have to come crawling home with your tail between your legs, realising you're going to have an early morning and a monstrous hangover to deal with. And of course, we gave out some of our Dad Nod's. Cheers for listening.

On this week's Dad's Hour, Mick was joined by Andy Pimbly from Claremont Farm and of course, resident Dad Iain Christie from the Royal Court theatre. On the agenda this week, we talked about how a recent survey has said that modern Dad's get up more times in the night to change nappies more than Mum's. We also spoke about 'modern day family values' and pet peeves such as sitting on your phone around the table. All of that, and of course we had to go back to the 'Dad Nod'. If you're out and about and you see a fellow Dad, give him the nod. We're all in this together.

We had a late substitution this week on Dad's Hour with Sam Avery having to drop out because of Dadding duties. Jake Mills joined Mick Coyle and Iain Christie for Dad's Hour on Liverpool Live this week. On this week's Dad's Hour we talked about how John Lewis kicked out a Mum and her child because they were throwing a tantrum. We wanted to know how far they would go to stop their kids kicking off in public and we spoke about the taboo of 'smacking' your children. It got interesting.

With Mother's Day coming up on Sunday, we had Candice Fonseca in for Dad's Hour this week alongside Mick Coyle & Iain Christie. We talked about how a new study found that women do typically four more weeks worth of childcare than men a year and how a new study by Oxfam found that more than two-thirds of women admit that they do the bulk of the housework. And of course we spoke about World Book Day.

On Dad's Hour this week we talked about dealing with those difficult questions that your children ask you to do with race, rumours and the 'birds and the bees'. Also, we looked at a story in 'The Telegraph' about how family doctors are supposedly diagnosing too many children with asthma and discussed the countless trips to the doctors.
