We are joined by Shane Morris for Episode 242!  Shane is a man who has done a lot and offers a lot of insight into the world.   David starts off the show by talking about his trip to see Jen Starsinic and Trapper Haskins on Friday Night. It was a great show!  John is about to head out on vacation!  Shane joins the show and introduces himself to the masses.   The three then talk about Jeff Bezos launching into space, The influence of Pepa Pig on the masses, and the removal of the bust of Nathan Bedford Forrest in Nashville Shane then talks about the future of A.I. in America and how it will affect the job market.  It's some interesting and thought provoking conversation. John is house hunting and that leads into talk about the price of homes in America and capitalism in general.  David talks about his trip to Chicago and how great of an experience that was!  The guys talk about the news story that revealed Trump was Russia's choice for President in newly revealed Russian documents.  The documents also mention a 'blackmail' event that they have on the former POTUS.   They also mention the passing of Mr. Wonderful, Paul Orndorff, who was one of the great wrestlers of the 1980's.  The hosts then reveal their Mt. Rushmore of Greatest Cities in the World! That's right, the BEST CITIES in the WORLD.  Expect some big names and reasons why in the list.  The show wraps up with spoiler free talk about Black Widow and Loki!

Episode 238 start offs with John giving a recap and ending to the Hitler story he told on Episode 237!   David talks about spending time with friends at the lake and the struggles of potty training a child.  The guys talk about the death of Ned Beatty, Rick Schroeder protesting a Foo Fighters show, and an update on Mark and Patricia McCloskey (the gun idiots in Missouri).  David talks about the legacy of being a dad and how it's changed over the years.  The two then jump into the Mt. It's Birthday week on BYB!  David celebrated his 44th birthday and a few listeners had birthdays as well.  Willie Nelson and Michelle Pfeiffer both had birthdays today and we celebrate those icons. David gave blood and talks about that experience.  He encourages everyone to donate if they can.  The guys discuss the Oscar Awards of 2021.  Do the awards matter?  Does winning in general matter?  Reflections are made on the manner. Episode 227 is here and it features the Mt. Rushmore of Stand-Up Comedians! The show starts off with David's problems with home repair.  That leads into Lil Nas X's week.  He has been the subject of controversy after his music video for Montero.  In the video he gives Satan a lap dance and the internet lost it's mind (specifically the Conservative Side of Social Media).  David has problems with David Ramsey and this leads into discussion about Jesus being a Republican or Democrat. John gives his best argument for him being more of a Republican. Tennessee Legislation has passed some odd laws lately (or attempting to pass them) and that is briefly talked about. The show reaches it crescendo with the Mt. Rushmore of Stand-Up Comedians.  Will your favorite make the list? You will have to listen to find out!!

Episode 226 was recorded during a tornado warning. We sacrificed our safety, so you are welcome! David and John talk about their past week, which included the memorial service for David's mother.  John got to eat at Joey's House of Pizza and the guys talk about how much they love the Nashville restaurant.  The system is broken.  Can it be fixed?  The two discuss money and gun problems in America. John watched The Snyder Cut of JLA and gives his thoughts on it. John and David then list their Top Female Comic Book Characters in their Mt. Rushmore segment.  Wonder Woman, Lois Lane, Jean Grey, and Catwoman all make the list.  You'll have to listen to hear all the choices

The boys are back after taking off last week.   David's mother passed away on March 10th and he talks about that experience.  From finding out his mom had cancer in January, to her passing away just a little over a month later.   He talks about the logistics of hospice care, the emotional journey, and the generosity of friends and strangers alike.   After that emotional journey, the guys talk about the Zack Snyder Justice League movie that was released on HBO Max.  David watched it and gives his thoughts on it.   They also try to cast the perfect Lois Lane and might have found a few good results. The show wraps up with some Oscar talk and the violence against Asian-Americans that has been in the news lately.

Episode 224 is a different one as David and John record the episode via Zoom since John's child was possibly exposed to COVID-19 at school.  John discusses that matter and it leads into talk about Texas and it's stance on the mask mandate.   John went to the eye doctor and did not like the experience.  We also talk about contact lenses and which sense would be the worst to lose.  Cancel Culture is always a big topic on social media. The guys discuss the cancelling of Dr. Seuss (by President Biden), the current Andrew Cuomo Situation, and also the Bachelor world! It all gets broken down! David and John list their Mt. Rushmore of Movie Crushes!  Which characters are worthy of being named as their top crushes of all time?  It's an interesting list. The show wraps up with talk about WandaVision and what John sees happening in the season finale!

David and John are back after Snowpocalypse of 2021!  They both talk about their experiences of the ice and snow that hit Nashville. John was stuck at a hotel for a week and got to watch all of Breaking Bad.  David took a trip to North Carolina and Idaho, where he experience more snow!  There is talk about Breaking Bad and bad airport experiences.  Rush Limbaugh passed away and the guys reflect on his legacy and what they meant to them many years ago.
