Forgiveness is more than learned behavior or good social etiquette. True forgiveness requires a supernatural exchange between us and God, which then gives us the capacity to forgive others from our heart.

History is clear that without forgiveness there is no future – for nations, for relationships, or for personal wholeness. We’ll begin this series addressing the false forms of forgiveness that we often embrace, which leave us paralyzed in the pain of our past. And, we’ll point to a better way forward that promises a brighter tomorrow.

The genius of living invitationally, as Jesus did, is that it’s not forced or fake. It’s actually pretty familiar. And as we follow him, we’ll discover that the familiar becomes our field. 

In a world that’s divided and increasingly isolated, it’s time we recover Jesus’ very ordinary method for sharing good news with others.

In our world followers of Jesus are often seen as extreme, judgmental and hypocritical.That description couldn’t be further from the abundant Life Jesus produces in a personwho knows and follows Him. The tithe is often seen as irrelevant, obsolete or a heavy obligation. However, the tithe is intended to be a willing act of joy-filled worship that aligns us with God’s principles of the harvest.

Whether we realize it or not, so much of our time and energy is driven by a sense that there is “never enough.” We work, we hustle, we save, and we spend attempting to gain what we think we need. Yet, Jesus invites us to a life settled in a different reality: In Him, there is more than enough.

People are like chickens in that we tend to set up pecking orders, pride pecking orders! Pride is the sin Lucifer embraced and the sin and source of all sin ever since. Rather than thinking too highly or lowly of ourselves it is when we are the primary focus of our lives and not God or others. Jesus has provided in His character, example and empowering Holy Spirit the power to expose, break and remove pride through the gift of humility and free us from prison of the pride chicken coop!
