A time where we can reflect on the past year and celebrate God's goodness in all he enabled us to do. As well as look forward into 2021 and the opportunities that lie ahead.

Today we welcome guest speaker Pastor Paul Lloyd, leader of Victory Outreach Church and author of Leading Broken People. Pastor Paul brings a message of love as we continue in our Year of Mercy series.

God's mercy isn’t something He ‘does’ it is who He is. Today we hear from Hannah as we continue in our Year of Mercy, looking in the book of Ruth at the story of Naomi. I wonder, have you ever felt abandoned? By a friend, family member or maybe even by God himself? As we explore this story together, we'll see that despite the tragedy, heartache and abandonment Naomi felt, God had never left her. A beautiful story of redemption and restoration was being played out. A story that captures the true love God has for His children. A love that is accessible for all A loyal love, because He is mercy.

This Valentine's day as we focus on love, Sarah Small, Head of the Eden Network, encourages us to embrace the fullness of Jesus' command to love God, and to love our neighbour. Being neighbourly isn't an optional extra, and sometimes our neighbours are not those that we would naturally feel drawn to, but God's Kingdom is about crossing over the lines that divide and demonstrating his radical mercy to all.

Ever messed up? Ever felt like a failure? Today we explore the goodness of God's mercy. No matter how many times we might get it wrong, you're never out of reach of God's love and mercy.

This morning we're asking you the question...Who or What are you putting your trust in for 2021? We will also be continuing in the story of Jonah, looking at the characteristics of a prophet. Surprisingly they all begin with 'P'.

Whether we care or not, God does! He has no ‘compassion fatigue’ – he still loves the place he’s put you and the people he’s sent you to. He can meet us with mercy, give us all what we need what we deserve, and turn everything around. Jonah 4.

No matter what we have done, God can meet us with mercy give us what we need not what you deserve, send revival to turn our nation around. Jonah 3.

No matter where you are, God can meet you with mercy, give you what you need not what you deserve, and turn your life around. Jonah 2.

Listen as Anthony kicks off our New Year series – beginning to look at the life of Jonah (the year of fish? Whales? No!) and sharing what Ivy Church’s Year of for 2021 is going to be as God takes us into the future together.

!!Merry Christmas!! I think we can all agree 2020 was a year where plans had to change, adjust, be redesigned or even scrapped. Even today may not be what you had planned for or hoped. But God still has a plan and today Anthony shares with us, 3 simple responses to when your plans change, that will keep us on course for God’s purposes. If Jesus walked the earth today he wouldn’t have an Amazon wish list; he wants for us to love him and to be loved by him. To love God, and to really know him, goes beyond loving him heart and soul. To love God with the fullness that he desires mean that we also love him with our minds - with our intellect. There is a vast depth to the person and work of God, that we will never get to the bottom of. However, as we begin to engage our minds, and delve into these depths, the knowledge of God leads us to the wonder of God which leads us to the worship of God.

Jesus said that the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength. This week we are going to be looking at the soul. What is the soul? And what does it mean to love God with all your soul? The answers to these questions are surprising and not what you would expect. Join us to find out!

We start our Christmas series asking a question that when answered has the ability to change your life forever. Looking at the story of Mary, mother of Jesus, we see that to be used by God, and see his miraculous power work in and through you, you don't need status or skills. But rather a posture of a servant, willing to give him your heart.
