  • Episode 4 | Antwon Hoard | The Invisible Wounds of a Professional Athlete

    06/08/2018 Duração: 01h52min

I wanted to call this episode "Six Foot Six Black Guy in Finland" but that was just one part of the story :) I loved talking to Antwon so much we need to record a part 2! He went from the inner city to playing professional basketball in Europe for many years. But his upbringing left him with demons that plagued him his whole life. In Part 1 we talk about his childhood and the impact it had on him. I was so fascinated to hear how he went from a kid who got cut from the Grade 9 basketball team to a professional athlete. He's got a such an easy going demeanor that makes him a blast to talk to. Enjoy Part 1 and stay tuned for Part 2! Check out the Dad Edge Alliance if you're looking for a tribe of incredible men.
