  • Top 10 games of the first two rounds + The UNC situation(s)

    24/03/2026 Duração: 01h19min

The guys are hunkered down on a Monday night because, well, Norlander has been hiding in the CBS cave since Thursday afternoon. Hartzell steers the ship on this rare CSN after dark episode - he's ranked his top 10 games of the opening weekend plus some other reactions to what we saw as the field got whittled from 68 to 16. First Four takes? Yep. High Point props? You already know. Georgia slander? Obviously. So many elite curated takes from the first and second rounds - as you've come to expect from the fellas. Plus what's the latest on Hubert Davis and UNC? As of Monday night, Norlander gives us what he's been hearing on the latest in Chapel Hill, plus when he expects this to get resolved. And - as you'll hear - it's not even a given that anything is going down. We haven't dropped a pod in almost a week so it's time to make good. • The only NCAA Tournament preview show you need

    16/03/2026 Duração: 01h27min

The bracket is here and it's gorgeous. Let's run through the field and talk about these games. Matt Norlander is ready to go, Hartzell is back from Nashville and even though his brain is more scrambled than usual, we're ranking all kinds of things on this bracket. Best 8/9 game? Best announcer pairings? Most likely 12-over-5? Who got the best - and worst - geographical pod assignments? So much to cover in today's show, and honestly the fellas could have kept going. What did Norlander think of Miami University getting shipped to Dayton? How many head coaches got fooled by the internet and the fake tip times? What's the most popular upset pick that nobody is talking about? So many questions but we're here for answers, folks! And - in a CSN exclusive - the guys run through the guidebook on how to properly write team names onto your bracket (because nobody spells out Wisconsin in full, we're not psychopaths here). An absolute banger of an episode, and frankly the only NCAA Tournament preview show wor

  • The long wait to Sunday night | Gauer Hour

    13/03/2026 Duração: 45min

There are still autobids to be won at the low- and mid-major levels, but for the power conference teams the resumes are in... is your team's good enough? Megan Gauer and Rob Joyce break down Megan's (mostly) finalized bracketology, get into the overall #1 seed, those final few hosting spots, and those precious final four spots in the field of 68, with every bubble team in full-blown Tiger regalia watching this weekend's Ivy League tournamentSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

  • It's 1 AM ET and we're breaking down brackets

    13/03/2026 Duração: 49min

The annual late-night power hour through the conference tournament brackets returns as Matt Norlander has boots on the glass floor (that's currently being disassembled) at the Big XII Tournament in Kansas City, while Hartzell has boots on Broadway covering the SEC Tournament. So much to unpack from the first couple of days - including the Miami U loss in the MAC and the butterfly effect that's having all across the bubble picture. Every conference that has a bracket and is still playing ball gets discussed, some more in-depth than others, but the spirit of what we're doing here is very alive. An annual CSN tradition: two exhausted, hungry, and dehydrated guys breaking down these brackets and trying to make some sense of the hoops landscape now inside of 72 hours until the bracket gets unveiled. What a time to be alive. See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

  • Dugouts, Dumbbells & Dingers - Desperation and Execution w/ High Point HC Joey Hammond - 3-10-26

    10/03/2026 Duração: 47min

Following his team's highest-ranked series win in program history, High Point Baseball head coach Joey Hammond joins host David Kahn on Dugouts, Dumbbells & Dingers. The pair discuss High Point's road series win in Gainesville over the weekend, the difference in strategies between the three games, and the confidence drawn from a victory like this, while still learning from the defeat in the series finale. Plus, High Point is prepared for every situation, even practicing rain delays. And Coach Hammond and his staff may have found the best new metric in college baseball - defensive efficiency. Desperation and Execution folks, two pillars of the Panthers program that we can all live by. Dugouts, Dumbbells and Dingers is sponsored by Homefield Apparel. • Conference tournament week power hour

    09/03/2026 Duração: 01h10min

We're six days out from Selection Sunday and the only thing between us and the gorgeous bracket is a full week of conference tournament action from coast-to-coast. Matt Norlander and Stephen Hartzell are flying through the Monday show with a recap of the autobids that have already been handed out, a recap of notable results over the weekend, and a full deep dive on the NCAA Tournament bubble which is Charmin soft. So soft, Norlander says, we should be going backwards on the number of teams in this thing - back to 64 - instead of the expansion talk of 70+ in the year(s) to come. The guys run through the sad state of the bubble and then it's on to the conference tournament brackets, which Hartzell has printed because this ain't no hobby, folks. The AAC bracket gets called out for egregious behavior, while the Big 12 earns the 'most improved' award for not going the blackout route. Norlander is headed to KC for Big 12 and as you listen to this Hartzell is literally heading west on I-40 to Nashville for SEC.

  • There's just four days left in the regular season + ESPN's Jeff Borzello

    05/03/2026 Duração: 01h27min

We are so close you can taste it. Final weekend of the regular season is here, even though there's postseason basketball happening all around us, and - oh yeah, by the way - Selection Sunday is just 10 days from now. Norlander and Hartzell opening the show reminiscing on the days of day-time hoops during their elementary school days. If you know, you know. Plenty to unpack from the midweek slate of hoops, including some heavy Miami RedHawks talk and the 'chaos machine' that is everyone in the Big 12 not named Arizona. Special guest Jeff Borzello from ESPN stops by to drop some absolute knowledge on everything going on (and a sneak peak at what's coming) with the college basketball coaching carousel. Things are busy and about to get a whole lot busier. If your team needs a head coach, this is the episode you need in your life because we let Borzello and Norlander absolutely cook for about 40 minutes and names and schools and it's a lot. • Get your list, this is March

    02/03/2026 Duração: 01h26min

This is not a drill, people. It's March 2nd which means Selection Sunday is in 13 days, conference postseason basketball starts tonight and continues for the next nearly two weeks straight, and it's time for everyone listening to step their collective game up. Matt Norlander AKA March Norlander is locked and loaded (as you knew he would be) which is good because Hartzell has takes that need to be fact-checked in real time. After a weekend recap John Fanta joins the show to talk about, among other things, his coveted list of teams that can cut down the nets in Indianapolis. Fanta's list is 6 teams. Hartzell's is 7. Norlander is checking in with 8. All-in-all those are pretty short lists. Fanta talks Big East - including a group of teams he thinks might be able to make a run at MSG next week - plus a bonus list of Fanta's top coaches this season. A truly loaded show, with a surprise 'Now Spinning' segment where the top 8 seeds in the JamBand Bracket (TM) are unveiled. Come for the hoops talk, stay for

    26/02/2026 Duração: 01h18min

Folks it's true, we are three weeks from round of 64 action in the NCAA Tournament. Let that wash over you for a minute because it's about to be absolute go time for the hoops heads out there. Loaded Thursday show as you've come to expect from this program; Norlander had boots on the ground in Hartford to watch UConn absolutely smoke St John's, meanwhile Hartzell was at home under the covers watching a loaded night of SEC hoops. Plenty to unpack from Wednesday night (and Tuesday, for that matter), before the guys welcome in Mike Boynton Jr to talk Michigan hoops and get some perspective on what it was like matchup up against the POY favorite last weekend and getting ready to face the highest-rated offense in the history of Ken Pom on the road Friday night. • The ultimate buy low spot

    24/02/2026 Duração: 01h16min

We're back after mother nature wouldn't let us tape on Monday. Norlander is still snowed in, but the power is on, the internet is humming, and we're podcasting a day later than usual. Lots to get to in a belated weekend recap PLUS some Big Monday results worth sharing. Houston has lost three in a row, sounds like it could be time to get in on the Cougars. Kansas continues to rack up top-5 wins but are the guys buying what the Jayhawks are selling? North Carolina won a game against a Louisville team that Hartzell is very much out on, which Norlander calls him out on. The guys run through their biggest takeaways from the weekend's games - including Norlander's trips to Indianapolis and Saint Louis - and another round of 'what would you do?' involving an Uber driver and life in the not-so-fast lane. Norlander reads reviews at the end of the show - so keep em coming!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

  • Are you raising your voice at me?

    19/02/2026 Duração: 01h01min

Very special CSN 'After Dark' that was recorded shortly before midnight on Wednesday while Matt Norlander is cooped up in downtown Indianapolis and Hartzell is at home absolutely grinding on some late night hoops. We had - maybe - the GOY in college basketball Wednesday night in the form of an Arkansas and Alabama 2OT thriller, plus a shocking UConn upset at home to Creighton, and oh yeah, Darryn Peterson did the thing again. So much stuff went down on Tuesday the fellas try and touch on all of it, including Georgia's win at Kentucky that came out of nowhere and the sights, sounds, and beatdown that Norlander saw firsthand at Mackey when Michigan put it on the Boilermakers. If you don't know by now, this Saturday is going to be all-timer, so get your chores done early because we got Arizona at Houston and Michigan vs Duke and this is big boy basketball. We're not raising our voice at you, this is on camera and we know you can hear us!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy N

  • Choose your fighter + Liberty's Ritchie McKay talks Flames and CUSA life

    16/02/2026 Duração: 01h23min

If you've ever played video games you know the feeling of powering on Street Fighter or Tekken and getting to choose your fighter before going to battle. It feels like that in the Big 12 and B1G right now. So many options, each with their own strengths (and flaws), but multiple paths towards the same goal. So, in light of the weekend action - which Hartzell and Norlander break down enthusiastically for the first 45 minutes of the show - now might be a good time to lock in and choose your fighter in these two leagues because, buddy, they're absolutely loaded at the top. Special guest Ritchie McKay - the head coach at Liberty - joins the show to talk about what it's like riding a 16-game win streak and looking to stay perfect in CUSA play. Does Norlander even know where the CUSA tournament is? You'll be shocked to know that he does, in fact, not.
