Godzilla is getting a feature-length anime movie! Aside from that, Akiba’s Trip is also getting a series and Babymetal is getting their own short-form live-action/animated hybrid series. Our featured anime and live-action movies are Log Horizon season 2 and Attack on Titan: The Movie part 2.

This week an amorous skunk and a very fast mouse are getting their own movies, and the trailers prove that sometimes anime is just plain weird.Our featured anime are Samurai Bride (Hyakka Ryouran), and Diebuster: Top Wo Nerae 2.

The sarcasm meter is off the scale this week with arguments about violence in animation and a live-action, CG animated feature film of Woody Woodpecker … for Brazil! Our featured anime are Samurai Harem (Asu no Yoichi!), Haikyuu Season 1 Part 2 and Top Wo Nerae: Gunbuster (Aim for the Top! Gunbuster).

This week we find out what happens when you don’t ban certain plot devices from a short story competition, and a “shrine” to anime and manga is being rebuilt. Our featured anime are Durarara!!x2 Shou, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works part 2 and Anomalisa (from Curzon Artificial Eye).

This week we find a gender-swapped “sexy” version of Monkey D. Luffy, a ban on plots about reincarnation or transport to other worlds, and a few trailers. Our featured anime is Parasyte: The Maxim part 1 (and technically the manga series Midori Days).

This week we fight our way through all of the trailers and teasers to find that single, shining piece of good news – Junko’s comedy manga “Kiss Him, Not Me” is getting an anime adaptation! Our featured anime are Love Live Season 1 and Aldnoah Zero.

It’s a trailerfest this week so we take a look at the ones for Sweetness and Lightning, 91 Days, RS Project: Rebirth Storage and Voltron: Legendary Defender. Our featured anime is Assassination Classroom Season 1 part 1.

It’s time for another dive into the world of animation with trailers for Bill Plimpton’s Revengeance and Violet Evergarden. Big changes are happening in the animation world as NBC Universal buys Dreamworks. We also discuss the remake of Watership Down, a fourth OVA series of Tenchi Muyo and the trailer for The Killing Joke. Our featured anime are Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie, Golden Time Part 2 and RWBY volume 3.
