Directed by Leigh Whannell, Wolf Man is the horror film produced by Jason Blum and Blumhouse Productions, which serves as a reboot of The Wolf Man franchise. Blake (Christopher Abbott) inherits his remote childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father vanishes and is presumed dead. Blake persuades his wife Charlotte (Julia Garner) to take a break from the city and visit the property with their young daughter, Ginger (Matlida Firth). But as the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they’re attacked by an unseen animal and, in a desperate escape, barricade themselves inside the home as the creature prowls the perimeter.

Directed by Dave Bullock and written by Stan Berkowitz, Justice League: The New Frontier is the animated superhero film adapted from the DC Comics limited series DC: The New Frontier. Luke and Nathan head back to 2008 to review the second film of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies by Warner Bros. Animation. Superman, Batman (Jeremy Sisto), Wonder Woman, the Green Lantern (David Boreanaz), the Flash (Neil Patrick Harris) and others form an alliance to battle evil.

Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Presence is the supernatural thriller drama written by David Koepp. A family moves into a suburban house and becomes convinced they're not alone.

They're living their best lies. Directed by Seth Gordon, Back in Action is the latest action comedy film to hit Netflix. Former CIA spies Emily (Cameron Diaz) and Matt (Jamie Foxx) are pulled back into espionage after their secret identities are exposed.

Directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland, 28 Days Later is the post-apocalyptic horror film starring Cillian Murphy. Luke and Jae revisit the zombie-ridden apocalypse back in 2002. A group of misguided animal rights activists free a caged chimp infected with the "Rage" virus from a medical research lab. When London bike courier Jim (Cillian Murphy) wakes up from a coma a month after, he finds his city all but deserted. On the run from the zombie-like victims of the Rage, Jim stumbles upon a group of survivors, including Selena (Naomie Harris) and cab driver Frank (Brendan Gleeson), and joins them on a perilous journey to what he hopes will be safety.

Succumb to the Darkness. Written and directed by Robert Eggers, Nosferatu is the gothic horror film starring Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, and Lily-Rose Depp. It is a remake of the film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1922), which was itself an unauthorised adaption of Bram Stoker's novel Dracula (1897). In the 1830s, estate agent Thomas Hutter (Hoult) travels to Transylvania for a fateful meeting with Count Orlok (Skarsgård), a prospective client. In his absence, Hutter’s new bride, Ellen (Depp), is left under the care of their friends, Friedrich (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Anna Harding (Emma Corrin). Plagued by horrific visions and an increasing sense of dread, Ellen soon encounters an evil force that’s far beyond her control.

Produced by CBS Eye Animation Productions with Mike McMahan serving as showrunner, Star Trek: Lower Decks is the adult animated television series set in the 24th century Star Trek universe. Luke and Jae get onboard with the fifth and final season of the adventures of the low-ranking officers with menial jobs on the starship Cerritos, which premiered on Paramount+. The crew faces various challenges including a mission to the Klingon homeworld of Qo'noS, where they must navigate Klingon society and rituals, the ship's counselor, Migleemo, tries to impress a group of food critics from his home planet, and through characters' alternate universe selves, the season showcases what their lives could have been like if they had made different choices.

Silent. Invisible. Invincible. The ultimate hunter. Directed by Stephen Hopkins, Predator 2 is the science fiction action film starring Danny Glover. It is the second installment of the Predator franchise and the sequel to 1987's Predator, with Kevin Peter Hall reprising the title role of the Predator. In line with its upcoming 35th anniversary, Luke and [co-host] go back and review this moderate box office hit. Los Angeles is enduring a heat wave and a crime wave, so the pressure on police officer Michael Harrigan (Danny Glover) to solve a strange string of murders is mounting. Harrigan thinks the culprit can be found among the warring gangs and drug cartels, but FBI Special Agent Peter Keyes (Gary Busey) knows the horrible truth: Their killer is a fearsome extraterrestrial (Kevin Peter Hall) with keen hunting abilities that include superior night vision and the power to make itself invisible.

In this annual special episode, we’ll look back at the year that was 2024 in film and TV, and let you know what our worst and favourite movies of 2024 were. We started 2024 with a post-strike hangover – the writer’s strike was over and once again we found ourselves looking forward to some sort of a kind of normalcy. Movies were back in production, movies were coming out again, following the delays that pushed a lot of them into 2024. We look back a year of movies and TV that was interesting, full of drama, lots of fun, had lots to enjoy, and lots that missed the mark.

Directed by J. C. Chandor, Kraven the Hunter is the superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Entertainment, it is the sixth film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. Sergai Kravinoff (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless gangster father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.

Directed by Bruce Timm, Lauren Montgomery, and Brandon Vietti, Superman: Doomsday is the animated superhero film adapted from the Dc Comics storyline "The Death of Superman". Luke and Nathan go back to 2007 to review this first film of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies. The Man of Steel (Adam Baldwin) battles an intergalactic killer, accidentally unearthed by a corporation - Doomsday.

Produced by Marvel Studios Animation, with Matthew Chauncey serving as head writer and Bryan Andrews and Stephan Franck directing, What If...? is the animated anthology series based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name. Luke and Nathan jump back into the multiverse to check out the third and final season of the series that explored alternative timelines in the multiverse that show what would happen if major moments from the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) occurred differently.

Directed by Jon M. Chu, G.I. Joe: Retaliation is the military science fiction action film based on the G.I. Joe toy line. Luke and Nathan go back to 2013 to review it like they stole it - the second installment in the G.I. Joe film series and sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2019). Duke (Channing Tatum), second-in-command Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), and the rest of the Joes (D.J. Cotrona, Lee Byung-hun) face a two-fold threat. Not only is their mortal enemy COBRA rearing its ugly head again, but there is also a threat from within the U.S. government: There might be an impostor in the White House. Meanwhile, Snake Eyes (Ray Park) is on a search for inner peace but learns that his nemesis, Storm Shadow (Lee Byung-hun), is still alive.
