Continuing our series, Gather, we arrive at 1 Corinthians 13 and consider Paul’s encouragement to put things in order and love one another with priority, purpose and power!

As we continue our three-part series exploring how and why we’re made in God’s image (Ge 1:26), in this second part we explore the heavenly culture created by the relationships between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, including how their distinction determines their roles. 

In this message, Arne encourages us to understand that as Christians we belong to Christ, that He has filled us with His Holy Spirit, and that we are His body here on earth. As the salt of the earth and the light of the world, we are here to carry out the plan God has for us as the mouth and hands of Jesus to those around us.

As we begin the first in a three-part series exploring how and why we’re made in God’s image (Ge 1:26), we start our journey with an understanding of who God is, in Himself. He is One (De 6:4) and yet He is also three Persons (Mt 3:16-17). In this message we consider God’s triune nature seen through the Scriptures, the three essential pillars of trinitarian truth, and why this matters if we’re to understand who we are.

In this message we consider three important aspects of being Heavenly People (1 Co 15:48-49). Through His death and resurrection Christ has led us back into a trusting relationship with the Father, enabling us to live in the blessings of being under God's arrangement. The Seed of Christ is now within us, transforming us from the inside out, from one degree of glory to another until the final transformation of our bodies at His return. And lastly, through Jesus, the last Adam, we're no longer just living beings, but now life-giving spirits. As Heavenly People we're able to reach down from the heavenlies to lift up the lost, with the life and power of His resurrection life within us.

As we reach the end of this great epistle, the apostle Paul devotes himself to explaining the nature of the resurrection and showing us that it’s the very foundation or grounds of our faith - for without the resurrection there is no forgiveness, no salvation and no future hope.  Moreover, he explains that Christ’s resurrection was the first of many, with the promise of life after death for all who are in Christ!  In this message we explore these things in a bit more detail and consider how we can live in resurrection power today!…You can find more messages and other videos at youtube.com/livingrockchurch. We can all show Jesus' love in so many different ways in our day to day lives. Smith Wigglesworth's early life showed us that you don't have to be the most polished preacher to bring the word of God to someone's life. We just need to be bold!

The 7th sign that Jesus performed to show us that He is God was the raising of Lazarus from the dead. It's a story of love, life, friendship and freedom. In the final message of our Signposts series Benj unpacks this story in John 11 & 12 and helps us see 3 key transformations that Jesus has for us - death to life, bound to free and seatless to seated.

In this message Will and Mike share a few principles and practicals for how we outwork life in the Spirit when we’re gathered and as we’re living our daily lives.

The next signpost that we find in the gospel of John is the account of the feeding of the 5,000. In this message Stephen unpacks the story and helps us see that Jesus knows our needs, he can do miracles, that nothing is wasted, and that He can do anything we ask!

In John’s story (Jn 5:1-17) of the man who had been disabled for 38 years, at the pool of Bethesda waiting for healing, we consider the enormous change that was headed his way, the day Jesus walked in. His whole way of life changed in an instant when he stopped looking to others, or to himself (if I could just move a bit faster …), and looked for the first time to Jesus, the Changemaker. 

Today we look at John’s account of Jesus healing the son of an official, with Jesus making an important point about the proper relationship between his miraculous signs and true faith in him.
