ABCP Episode #36
02/03/2009 Duração: 01h13minThis special double-sized* episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by "inch time foot gem," which proves there is sadly no such thing as a LOLBuddah, or something. In yet another week where good books get fricking canceled, we tip our hats to She-Hulk and Blue Beetle, but say a warm, desperate hello to the healing pencils of Takeshi Miyazawa on two favorite titles. Be sure to stay tuned (or fast forward if you get bored) until after the closing music, when Saddest Guardian™ Scar brings you a not-to-be-missed bonus Origins & Omens backstory about Evie and Aaron.*"Double-sized" in the way that She-Hulk and Incredible Hercules were "double-sized" this week, in that we went over our normal show length by like 20% or so.

ABCP Episode #35
23/02/2009 Duração: 01h44sThis episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by Learning to Be Silent, a zen koan that we will never learn in a million years. We say goodbye to birds of the Prey and Robin varieties, get our Coraline on, and can't help giving a laugh-out-loud award to Jeff Parker's sort of mean joke in Mysterius the Unfathomable. Big wins to Guardians of the Galaxy and X-Factor, which we do not spoil, you're welcome Peter David.Download/subscribe below, and leave an iTunes review! ABCP Episode #34
16/02/2009 Duração: 01h07minThis week's episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by Cheeseburger Facts, whereas last week's episode was not brought to you at all by orthomyxoviridae. Demons dominate with awards for Hellcat and Hexed, and Neil Gaiman makes everyone happy again. Aaron and Evie recap New York Comic Con ever so concisely and rave about the animated Princess of Paradise.

ABCP Episode #33
02/02/2009 Duração: 01h47sThis very special episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by Hilarious Reasons That It's Better To Be a Woman than a Man, am I right ladies? Abnett and Lanning hit one out of the space park with Nova #21, we say farewell to the Legion, Terry Moore quietly excels and Wonder Woman makes a move. Last but certainly not least, DO NOT miss our EXTRA SPECIAL EXCLUSIVE interview with the God of Sea Mammals of Comics, who answers ALL of your undoubtedly many, many, many questions about Final Crisis #7.

ABCP Episode #32
27/01/2009 Duração: 01h01minThis (late, apologies) episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by Two and a Half Men! Two and a Half Men! Two and a Half Men! who, it must be said, have done it again. Evie and Aaron freak out a little over X-Factor #39, and strenuously respect but deny Peter David's request not to spoil it. As a result of all this Dark Crisis Faces of Death Evil Reign of Bad stuff being a big downer during this new real-world era of Hope and Change (and bankruptcies and layoffs), Marvel's delightful all-ages books win big, although Dan Slott also gets major points for bringing actual Avengers back to an Avengers book.

ABCP Episode #31
19/01/2009 Duração: 01h01minThis episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by the Forkies, who are enraptured. In a week where the Big Two fight for easy press, the biggest story for us is the beautiful conclusion of I Kill Giants, which made Aaron cry even harder than the end of Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Captain Britain and MI13 turns in another fine chapter, and two series starring kick-ass ladies come to a premature end. SPOILER: Batman died. SPOILER TWO: Batman will be alive again soon enough. Happy new president week!ALSO: Because we got a lot of follow-up questions to last week's show--here is the link to the iTunes store for Aaron's band, or search for "The Ampersands" (album called "And") at Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic, CD Baby, or wherever you get those things.

ABCP Episode #30
12/01/2009 Duração: 55minThis episode of Awesomed By Comics is sponsored by... oh lord I can't even type it, let's just say that Aaron has sunk to new lows and move on. It's a colon-friendly show as Black Lightening: Year One, Submariner: The Depths, Sandman: The Dreamhunters, and others score big, not to mention the Shredded Wheat. Aaron finally plugs his band, and Evie gets weepy over hamsters in love. Starring special guest stars the Philadelphia Eagles.

ABCP Episode #29
05/01/2009 Duração: 53minThis episode of Awesomed By Comics is sponsored by Frogfucius, who say "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do. Ribbit." Aaron and Evie ring in the New Year with piles of praise for Hercules, Incognito and Gigantic, but find the Holocaust disappointing. New Year's resolutions include less eating and more shitty music. Also, could we see some more Wolverine in '09? We'd really like to learn more about what makes that guy tick.

ABCP Episode #27
15/12/2008 Duração: 01h06minThis episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by "Alphabet Bitches" by Lil' Wayne, which incidentally settles a question or two about Black Adam's late bride. I Kill Giants once again gets the gush treatment, and Final Crisis #5 barely qualifies for an award of its own. Awards also go to nasty jerks and a delightfully adapted PowerPoint presentation. Aaron presents an urban allegory to answer all your questions about how the likes of Ed Benes, Grant Morrison, etc. are allowed to keep doing what they do without consequence.

ABCP Episode #26
07/12/2008 Duração: 51minThis episode of Awesomed By Comics is sponsored by a very nice and not bad-looking girl who is bored this evening, would you like to chat? In this very special show, Evie and Aaron interview a certain Big Shot Writer who may or may not answer all of your burning questions about a certain blockbuster "summer" crossover event whose "shocking" conclusion was released this "week". So be sure to stay tuned for that bonus segment about midway through. Also, Aaron gets excited about lots of green-skinned space babes, and the Punisher brings the hurt in the name of Our Lord and Savior. X-Men Noir debuts, albeit without any of these promised black X-Men, and Criminal #7 STEALS the show. HA HA.

ABCP Episode #25
30/11/2008 Duração: 54minThis episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by More Comic Book Knock-Knock Jokes, because INTERRUPTING INTERGALACTIC STARFISH. Evie and Aaron are a little bloaty and slow after Thanksgiving, but still manage to get a bolt of disdainful adrenaline out of Batman RIP (and think Grant Morrison could learn a lot from Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu). The conclusion to Hickman and Ringuet's excellent Transhuman series is Monkey-tastic, and this time we mean the kind without Peter Tork.

ABCP Episode #24a, Monkey Variant
23/11/2008 Duração: 54minAs promised, the long-awaited Monkey Variant. Unlike the earlier Zombie Variant, this is an actual variant of Episode #24, we promise.

ABCP Episode #24
23/11/2008 Duração: 51minThis episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by Practice, which makes pizza pies, Punisher plots and porpoises, in addition to perfect. Evie and Aaron try to think of what could possibly make Wolverine more badass and popular, and discuss why Mayor Hundred doesn't need to be. Andy Diggle's electrifying (GET IT??) first issue of Thunderbolts earns some nods.Be sure also to download Episode #24a, the bonus Monkey Variant. Don't let the previous Zombie Variant deter you. Really.

ABCP Episode #23
16/11/2008 Duração: 56minEpisode #23 of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by Pasta, because eyyyyyyy, how YOU doin? You wanna go get some wheels n sauce? Evie and Aaron gush over I Kill Giants, and wonder why Marvel keeps printing Wolverine fan fiction. Due to the success of last week's Zombie Variant, we include a special foil cover.

ABCP Episode #22
09/11/2008 Duração: 57minThis episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by a Brand New Day--starring Barack Obama and decidedly not Mephisto-orchestrated--as well as some crap that Aaron made up about poor Oscar Hammerstein. A strong week for mini-series and one-shots holds up even under the yoke of a zillion Wolverines, and pretty art is everywhere. Fin Fang Foom and headless hookers excel.

ABCP Episode #21
02/11/2008 Duração: 56minThis episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by OH MY GOD NOVEMBER 4TH CANNOT GET HERE FAST ENOUGH LET'S DO THIS THING ALREADY. Warren Ellis can't avoid winning several ABC awards after writing 694 books this week, and Incredible Hercules remains Marvel's strongest title, and not just because of all the sexy. Raise your hand if you secretly want the Brown Bomber to get an ongoing.
