Under Edwins amazing leadership we are able to create a program to lead Cleveland into the future. Without all of our participants this wouldn't be possible. An educational program that provides 6 months of intensive training in food preparation, food service, and hospitality.

We had the pleasure of speaking wth activist, author, and domestic violence survivor, Laura Cowan. We also had the opportunity to speak with Lt. Gov. of Ohio Mary Taylor about prevention and awareness.

For more than a decade the National Hamburger Festival has been made possible by the city of Akron’s leadership, as well as the residents of Ohio to enjoy some wonderful burgers. Each year 20,000+ people converge onto the Northeast Ohio community for a summer weekend of family fun, featuring over 20 area eateries and serving up to 50 different styles of hamburgers. There were several contests and even a Hamburger Queen pageant.

Dancing Under the Stars is an outdoor dancing extravaganza that includes live music and dance instructions taught by Rebecca Sweet, co-owner/instructor of Viva Dance Studio. Connections Cleveland had the oppurtunity to speak with Rebecca and local resisdents of Cleveland about the event.
