In one sentence, the purpose of the show is to educate, motivate and entertain in such a way that we improve political and social discourse.We live in interesting times. Weve just witnessed one of the most divisive elections in U.S. history. Weve watched people riot because they didnt like the outcome. Thats something were used to seeing in third world countries, not in the United States of America. Its sad commentary on the state of the nation.If theres at least one good thing to come from this election, its that most people at this point are keenly aware of the monolithic bias of the mass media.We now live in a post-objective journalistic world.This is a good thing so long as it raises peoples awareness that they need to employ their critical thinking skills when listening to the news, regardless of source.Journalists who argue that they are objective in their reporting, are either trying to fool you, or fool themselves.We will undoubtedly talk a lot about Texas politics and whats going on across the street at the Capitol.We will also discuss broader issues affecting the nation and the world.Other times, well just have someone on the show that we find to be interesting and cool someone who may give us insight into the music industry, sports, entertainment, religion, or life in general.Put simply, this is a show about people, society, and human nature.We hope everyone finds it interesting, insightful, and entertaining. We hope it motivates you to pay more attention to political and societal trends and to engage, regardless of your perspective.Its easy for us to get bogged down with day to day life, but we have a responsibility to ourselves, our families, our country, and mankind to participate in the future of this great Republic.If we dont, its at our own peril.
