Something has gone incredibly wrong. The police are never unemployed. The army is always growing. Funeral directors are in a recession proof business. Hospitals and doctors are always in demand. The world is not becoming a better place to live. People steal and kill. Our lives are ravaged by cancer, sickness and broken relationships. Everything in us tells us this isn't the way God created life to be. Genesis 3 tells us what went wrong.

In Marvels latest movie, Age of Ultron, Tony Stark creates life by putting Artificial Intelligence in the Ultron project. Ultron comes to life and tries to destroy the world. In Genesis 2, we discover how God created our life and how he feels about us even after we rebelled against him and tried to take over his world.

In this message we examine some common questions about homosexuality. If homosexuality is wrong, why doesn't the Bible talk about it more? Doesn't the Bible only refer to violent and abusive same-sex relationships? Why would God give people homosexual desires and not want them fulfilled? Will practicing homosexuals go to heaven because Jesus forgives their sin? What should I know about the legalization of same-sex marriage? Where can I find hope in my struggle with sexual sin?

Neil Degrasse Tyson, closes his famous hit series, Cosmos with these words. "Nobody knows how life got started… The only shame is to pretend we have all the answers. Maybe someone watching this will be the first to solve the mystery of how life on earth began." When we look at Genesis 1, we don't have to solve a mystery about life's beginnings. God gives us the answer. Find out why it is the only answer that still satisfied the heart and mind 4,000 years after it was given.

Genesis means origins. The book of Genesis is a book about origins. It tells us about the origin of the universe, the origin of life, the origin of marriage, the origins of evil, the origin of language and the origin of God's plan to save us from our sin. As we prepare to study the book that describes the origins of almost everything, what should we think about this book? Is it a collection of myths with moral lessons or is it historical fact? What should we think about the six days of creation? Are they figurative for long periods of time or six literal days? Join us as we orientate ourselves to this foundational book.

Bruce Jenner was the all-American male. He won the decathlon in the 1976 Montreal Olympics. He was considered for the role of Superman and James Bond. It looked like he had everything a man could want—until he began taking on a softer appearance. On April 24, 2015 he came out of the closet with Diane Sawyer. He revealed that he was transsexual and was for all intents and purposes a woman. How does God look at those struggling with gender dysphoria? Is surgery the answer? On June 16, 2015, the Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage making it the law of the land. Many Christians are not supportive of this decision. When asked to explain why it is wrong, most Christians are frustrated. They don't have good biblical answers. If they point to the prohibition against homosexuality in Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13, they are told the obscure laws in that book shouldn't be obeyed. Doesn't Leviticus prohibit lots of things, like eating shellfish (I like shrimp and lobster!) or wearing clothing woven of different fabrics (My shirt is a cotton-polyester blend). If we ignore Leviticus on some things, shouldn't we ignore that obscure Old Testament book on all things? Isn't the Bible's big idea to be loving and accepting of all people like Jesus?
