Our favorite part of Dragula is how much heart the show has (under all the grime and guts), and no one is a better example of that than the current reigning supermonster, Biqtch Puddin. After some compelling testimony in the boudoir from each queen, we get a cavalcade of glamour, filth and horror, including James Majesty getting mustardy, Victoria Elizabeth embracing her inner blackness and Biqtch eating more than just pudding....Which queen will take home in the crown? Season 2's six remaining supermonsters trek out to the woods to give scream queen realness in Episode 5's slasher challenge, with Peaches Christ and Miss Coco Peru serving us Siskel & Ebert (if they were somebody's sensible aunts). Our Thai top four may be at the last 100 meters, but it's going to be an exhausting sprint to Top 3! That being said, Annee Maywong lives up to her nickname (the one we've given her, anyway) of Anne May Win, because she sweeps this entire episode, from makeup mini-challenge to Songkran goddess on the runway. All of the eliminated queens return for a mini-makeover/unconventional materials challenge before the whole cast puts on an extravagant soap opera that puts every other Drag Race acting challenge to shame. The game of musical chairs for Top 3 reaches an emotional conclusion on the runway for our resident pizza queen, but this journey to the finale ends with the same joy and positivity we've come to love all season. We comment on the first negativity from a guest judge toward Annee May Wong, find our disagreement with the runway/lip sync outcome (an elephant never forgets...), and of course... we are gooped, gagged, and waving our hankies at that intoxicating lip sync! Mary, if you are gonna start Drag Race Thailand anywhere but the beginning, start here. We go in this week and love on the nuanced faces of JaJa in the mini-challenge, gag over every runway look (Every. Single. One) and name B Ella as the Pizza Queen we all need right now (Pizza = always good even when its bad). We also hail the production of the runway which sets Drag Race Thailand apart from RuPaul's Drag Race in a very important way. Get into, Mary!

Even without the Gone With the Wind reference, the curtain challenge is a classic example of resourcefulness and imagination. The Top 8 are turning drapes and panels into looks, looks, looks--but not before a welcomed return to puppet-based mini challenges. Art Arya is a hoot the whole episode ("Christoris!") and Pan Pan gets cuter by the draped blazer.
