With a burning desire to make his dreams come true by any means necessary, Slick has a chance meeting with DJ Chops, one of Hip-Hop's biggest DJs and record executives. Chops offer Slick what seems to be an amazing recording contract, which Slick hastily signs without reading the fine print. Slick soon finds out that not only did he sign up to pursue his dream of being a famous artist, but he also signed up for something much more sinister. You see, what Slick failed to realize is that not only are record labels home to some of the universe’s biggest music stars; they also serve as fronts for hitmen for hire services of nefarious crime lords. Issue 30: This issue focuses on the Young Avenger, Eli Bradley CBN Season 2 | Issue 30 | Elijah Bradley Born into the Bradley Family and descended from Isiah Bradley the first black Captain America, Eli grew up on stories about his grandfather’s heroic exploits during the war. His mother Sarah Gail Bradley was born before his grandfather had been made a super soldier and as a result he and his siblings were born normal humans. Eli very dissimilar to his grandfather though he was weak and small. After countless battles under his belt and on the heels of a trauma from combat, Eli’s life was ultimately saved due to a blood transfusion with his granddad which also finally granted him the super powers he always wanted. The government planned to grow the perfect soldier to be used as a personal unthinking weapon. During his conception, a more stable peak human gene was developed within him making him more powerful than any of the previous super soldiers. Josiah is a Muslim minister. He replaced his last name Bradley with the letter “X”. He has had many names including "Justice", the one he used as a hero. The "X" apparently symbolizes his allegiance to the Lost Tribe of Shabazz.
