Monday Movie Munchie Madness

Stand still and straighten your back because we're coming at you this week with a review of Paul Thomas Anderson's 'Phantom Thread'. Daniel Day-Lewis will be heading back to retirement (being a cobbler in Italy) after this movie and it is every bit a piece of handcrafted art, just like his shoes probably. It's a story of love, passion, and mental issues that's riveting, interesting, and beautiful all the way through. We also talk trailers, do a little 'What's Up with This, What's Up with That', and even issue an apology to you, the Munchers.

This week, the guys review 'The Post', a film by the inimitable Steven Spielberg. Find out why, for all it's perfection and despite the in-theater applause, it's only meh. The statistician chimes in, there's a new sound bite revealed for 'What's Up with This, What' Up with That', and there's even some industry talk.

A long time ago, in a podcast studio far far away, the boys spiritedly debate the merits of the new Star Wars film, 'The Last Jedi'. They slice it open like a tauntaun in a blizzard and pick apart its innards including plot issues, character breakdowns, physics comments, and the Disney influence.
