Here it is- the final interview of Season 3- and what an interview indeed! I had the chance to sit down with Nadia Rosemond- one of my favourite people on the planet. Nadia and I go way back to our undergrads at the University of Guelph and I was so happy that Nadia agreed to be interviewed AND join RelaySA as our new co-host!

In my interview with Mark Solomon and Amy Gaukel they gave be a bunch of suggestions of folks to interview. Among their suggestions was Marty Williams. I've known about Marty for a while now and so was super excited about the chance to sit down with him over a beer or two.

Jen Browne from MUN passed the RelaySA baton along to some truly excellent colleagues including Dr. Tracey Mason Innis. Tracey is currently the Director of Residence and Housing services at SFU. We had a chance to chat at the most recent CACUSS conference in Ottawa.

Angie Clarke (@angclarke ) is the best. I was thrilled with Jen Browne passed the relay over to Angie and I couldn't wait for our interview. We found a fe minutes at CACUSS and we snuck away to a hotel bar for this conversation. (You can hear our drinks being dropped off at our table.) I think Angie and her work as Director of Student Affairs at the Marine Institute are just fascinating.

In our first episode of season 3- I had the chance to sit down with Dr. Tricia Seifert. (@TriciaSeifert) We found some time between sessions at the CACUSS conference in Ottawa and snuck into the banquet hall for our interview. I apologize for the ambient top 40 music and sounds of staff setting up in the background. Any chance to speak with Tricia is truly a gift- its no wonder that Tim Fricker nominated her. Our conversation was wonderful and I hope you enjoy listening to it.

Way back in the very first episode of RelaySA, the baton was passed along to Erin Biddlecombe and even though it took us a while to finally schedule our interview- it was well worth it the wait. If you can forgive our poor internet connection and the occasional interrupting phone ringing- than you will love Erin's passion for her work and her brilliant take on Student Affairs in Canada.

What first started out as a twitter joke quickly became a really great interview with the amazing Amy Gaukel and Mark Solomon. RelaySA's first 'couple interview' was jam packed and we didn't even get to the part about what its like being a couple in this cozy field of ours. We kept mentioning a possible sequel, so hopefully in the future we may be able to get together again for another conversation.

In September 2016, a friend and colleague tweeted at me suggesting I interview Tim Fricker for the podcast. A twitter chat emerged about how often the college perspective is missing in our #SACdn conversations and so I was very excited to sit down with Tim for the start of a new relay. Back in Season 1, Meagan and Atifa gave a few names of who should be interviewed next for RelaySA. Among their suggestions was Liana Acri who works at the University of Guelph-Humber- a unique institution that combines "the benefits of both university and college programs". We met at a pub in Toronto's Blood St West neighbourhood to chat.

Back in very first interview- Ryeron's Jen Gonzales passed the baton over to fellow Ram, Kait Taylor-Asquini. The relay continues as we had a candid and hilarious conversation in Kait's office, right before the launch of a huge leadership event her office was putting on. Even though my timing was not optimal- the conversation was fantastic!

I am so happy that Jennifer Browne (of MUN fame) agreed to sit down with me for an interview. We had a great time and I learned quite a bit- we are lucky to have someone like Jennifer Browne working in our field. I hope you enjoy the interview!

In my interview with Jennifer Hamilton back in Episode 3, she gave me a few suggestions of folks I should interview next. One of them was Sean Van Koughnett who is the Associate Vice-President (Students and Learning) and Dean of Students at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Back in Episode 2 when I interviewed Darran Fernandez he suggested a few folks that I should interview next for the podcast relay. I was lucky enough that one of his suggestions would be in Montreal at the same time as myself, attending the annual ACPA convention. Willing to jump right in, Christine Adam (the Dean of Students at Thompson Rivers University)and I spent about an hour chatting, covering everything from family trips, access to higher ed and of course, all things student affairs.
