Stanford Academic Freedom Conference
04/12/2022 Duração: 57minStanford Academic Freedom Conference, 'The State of Higher Education' panel, with John Ellis, Eric Kaufmann and Gad Saad, Nov 4-5, 2022 Academic freedom, open inquiry, and freedom of speech are under threat as they have not been for decades. Speakers: John O’Connell (Chair), Chief Executive, TaxPayers’ Alliance Marc Glendening, Head of Cultural Affairs, Institute of Economic Affairs Eric Kaufmann, Professor of politics, Birkbeck, University of London Winston Marshall, Musician, writer & podcaster Mercy Muroki, Presenter, GB News https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZLeTXa_OPs

Unregistered, with Thad Russell
15/06/2021 Duração: 02h14minThad Russell & Eric Kaufmann: I am fascinated by the global nationalist populist movement—the alliance of the Brexiteers in Britain, Trump and the ascendant MAGA movement in the US, the LePens and National Rally of France, Bolsonaro in Brazil and many other major political parties and leaders across the globe—and so I was very pleased to sit down with Eric Kaufmann, Professor of Politics at Birkbeck College, University of London, who is the author of Whiteshift—the very best book on the subject. It became one of the most illuminating political conversations I've had in a long time, which is saying something. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXh1i3s0RC8
