Three Dope Chicks

The deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castille happened weeks ago, but the fight for justice and the foundation of the Black Lives Matter movement is still very alive relevant. It seems that black people are fighting and dying for the same types of equality that birthed the African-American Civil Rights Movements of the 19th and 20th centuries. Brock Turner THE RAPIST is a bitch ass, weak ass sucka emcee and former Stanford student that has lived his entire life riding the wave of white privilege. In this episode Three Dope Chicks shares their passionate opinions on this Unjust case. In the early morning of January 18th Brock RAPIST Turner was caught behind a dumpster by two witnesses riding their bikes past and noticed the woman he was on top of was not moving. After these two heroes confronted the RAPIST, they chased him and pinned him down until he police came. This was the beginning of the Stanford Rape Case. Earlier this year Brock RAPIST Turner was convicted of three felonies ( Intent to commit rape of an intoxicated /Unconscious, Penetration of an unconscious person, & Penetration of an intoxicated person) But on June 2nd the RAPIST was only sentence to 6 months in jail and three years probation.    

On the heels of Father's Day, the Three Dope Chicks take the time to dispel the common notion that Black fathers are absentee in their children's lives. This week, the Chicks are joined by three fathers, including Dope Chick Kali's husband, who take their fathering role seriously, even though they may not live with their offspring full-time. Listen along as we have a positive discussion about Black fatherhood and better understand the struggles when they face when trying to be an active parent from a distance.

On this episode, the Three Dope Chicks welcome their longtime friend, Mishael Granger-Benta, on the show to discuss her experiences as a victim of domestic violence. Unfortunately, Mishael's story is not an uncommon one. Listen as we learn the ins and outs of being in a physically abusive relationship, the long term mental issues and what steps Mishael had taken to heal and move forward. Join us as we continue to raise awareness on this  

The Dogfathers Podcast, hosted by the incomparable Prince Swaray and Jaycob Simpson, decided that they needed more street cred and solicited the assistance of the Three Dope Chicks. The highly anticipated Beyonce project "Lemonade" was thrust into our lives a little over a week ago, but the Three Dope Chicks are still sipping the zesty tea she spilled. In a special episode, we dissect each song on the album and share our varying levels of admiration for one of our generation's most celebrated artists.

In episode 2, our first guest VP the General stops by our Dopecast for some relationship talk. "He said/She Said" covers everything from habitual cheating to swinging to confronting the side chick. But wait, did one of the Dope Chick say she believes in polygamy?

What is it about babies that makes you all soft and sweet? Does your uterus skip a beat when you hold a little human? Mother's Day may be over, but the Three Dope Chicks are talking baby fever and motherhood in episode 3. We also wanted to show our undying appreciation to the women that molded us into the the queens that we are today.
