There are quite a few "moments" — bits of story that stick with you for days, years, forever after. Great lines in movies, action sets, battle sequences, character interactions, etc. all sear themselves into our collective memories. They become iconic moments that define our perception of those stories. We quote them. We turn them into memes. They become cultural shorthand.And it's not limited to television and movies. Artist and writer George Pérez passed away Friday night at his home after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He had been on hospice care for a while after deciding to forego any more treatments and let the cancer run its course.
