Each year law enforcement officers from around the nation bike to Washington, DC in the Police Unity Tour. Lt. Guy Patterson and officers Derek Farbanec and Joseph Stulpin will represent the Cranford Police Department in this year's ride. Lt. Patterson spoke with Cranford Radio about the tour.

On Monday, the US Army Corps of Engineers provided an update on their Rahway River Basin Flood Risk Management Feasibility Study. The presentation provided preliminary benefit-cost benefit numbers of ten alternatives. Chris Gardner, a spokesman for the New York District of the Army Corps, spoke by phone with Cranford Radio to talk about what was presented and next steps.
