Listening Well To The King

The mission at CrossPoint Church is: To teach people how to know, obey and enjoy Jesus Christ in order to share Him with others. Fishing was not the job that Peter was to return to after the resurrection.  Fishing was his old life not the life which God had called Peter. Jesus shows up, makes breakfast and gives them an abundant catch before reminding Peter what He had called him to do.  Jesus simply told Peter to feed His sheep and follow him.  How quickly we forget.  Pastor Blake Peterson shared this message to CrossPoint Church.

God's plan of salvation was well orchestrated.  Elizabeth, Zechariah, Mary, Joseph, Simeon, Anna, the shepherds, and the wise men all had a part in the Christmas Story. Thank you God for sending your son as a gift to mankind.  Pastor Rick spoke this message at CrossPoint church.

Ordinary shepherds were watching their sheep on an ordinary night when everything changed. Angels lit up the skies and shared the GOOD NEWS that Christ the King has been born in Bethlehem and laid in a manger.  The Messiah had arrived which meant the world could now be rescued. Hebrews 11 is filled with examples of God's kids trusting Him.  God loves it when His kids trust Him.  God's promises are sure even though we may not experience them until the Lord returns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  Meanwhile, God encourages us to fix our eyes on Jesus and run the race with endurance throwing off any hindrance that impedes the race. God applauds both Israel's and Rahab's faith... both unlikely heroes.  Neither the nation or the person would normally be a candidate for the hall of Faith... but God sees it differently.  Pastor Rick talked about God's grace at CrossPoint Church.

God was gracious and faithful to Jacob. Jacob struggled with faith until his deathbed. God was pleased with how Jacob finished. Pastor Rick shared this message at CrossPoint church.

Most wonder how Isaac was included in the Hall of Faith... until Isaac shines at the end of his life.  God loves when we trust and obey Him even when feel our way is best.  Pastor Rick taught this lesson from Hebrews 11:20 and Genesis 25-27 at the CrossPoint Church.

Sarah's faith grew to a place where God used it in His Hall of Faith. How exciting to see Sarah learn from her mistakes and trust God for the impossible.  Pastor Rick  taught Hebrews 11:11 to CrossPoint Church.

Trusting God when it doesn't make sense makes you a hero. Trusting God when you doubt makes you a hero. Abraham was a hero. Pastor Blake Peterson shared his heart to the CrossPoint Church.

Noah banked on God's Words which pleased God.  Noah believed God even when circumstances did help his faith.  Noah is an unlikely hero.  Pastor Rick preached this message to the CrossPoint Church.

God is pleased by Enoch's faith, he trusts God.  Enoch walked with God for 300 years before God took him home. It is impossible to please God without faith.  Pastor Rick taught Hebrews 11:5-6, Genesis 5:21-14 and Jude 14, 15 at CrossPoint Church.

God is pleased when we have faith in His Word. It is impossible to please God without faith.  Faith means you can bank on God's Word even though His promises have not been fulfilled as of yet. Pastor Rick began this series at CrossPoint Church.
