The ugly truth is….life is simple. Do onto others as you’d have done onto you. If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. But the fact is sometimes people say things that others might perceive subjectivity as “not nice”. Well we live in a world of free speech and the fact is you can’t be imprisoned for your opinion. Also a reminder of how lucky you are as there are plenty of countries where you’ll get exactly that for your opinion. Australia is often a litmus test for other leaders to see how people will react. The Misinformation and disinformation Bill is an abomination for free speech. It uses words to make you think it’s made to protect you. When all it does is allow unelected groups like “The Ministry of Misinformation” to decide what is “truth” and what is a “lie”. And so it comes to pass that DeadPool and Wolverine finally get their chance to square off and team up in their own movie. For the Marvel universe it could be too little too late. Even though DeadPool (Ryan Reynolds) says he’s the Marvel Jesus hoping to reset the Marvel timeline. In any case I think we’re all excited to see the claws come out once more for Hugh Jackman and Wolverine. Sure he had a respectful send off in “Logan” but this could be the cherry on top. As the latest trailer dropped we get to see that Wolverine is not just a side character or cameo. When we think about Hollywood remakes the first question is sometimes…why ? In the case of the new Road House remake that question is only the beginning.
