We had the honor and privilege to sit down with none other than the man himself, Jon Bellion, who is currently on tour for his latest full-length album, “Glory Sound Prep!” Since Jon will be headlining Coacha, we figured he’s the perfect guest to wrap up our Coacha hype series. Jon talks about first discovering his passion for music, the process of getting discovered and releasing his music for free, and writing massive hits for such artists as Jason Derulo, Christina Aguilera, and Eminem! We went north yet again to chat with Legacy Franchisee for Newberg, Tigard, and Sherwood, OR Ryan Hawkins. Ryan talked about getting hired for DB back in the ’90s, opening his first Franchise in Newberg in ‘03, and of course, we talked about Coacha. Needless to say, Hawk has been in the game a long time and has lots of wisdom. Enjoy!

It’s Coacha hype time! So we brought in Regional Manager for the 2C and events guru, Karlie Brand. Karlie shared with us her DB journey, becoming events and marketing coordinator for the Randalls, all of her Coacha experiences, and a whole lot more. Karlie is killing the game, and well on track to her end goal of being a Regional Operator. Despite her success, she’s still a student of the game, and eager to learn even more. Enjoy!

We decided to go mobile with the podcast this week. We took a road trip down to Chico, CA to interview the Regional Operator in Paradise, Oroville, and Orland, Matt Long. Our theme for June’s episodes is mentorship. Our brand new Chief Of Staff at Dutch Bros, Keith Thomajan joined us to share a bit about his past experiences working in the nonprofit sector, what his primary focus will be with DB, and some things he’d love for us to achieve moving forward. Former Spokane, WA Broista Joel Barbour spoke with us on the phone about his time working for DB, going to school for graphic design, working at an ad agency, and eventually starting his own clothing line The Great PNW. Joel is a great example of someone who used his time at Dutch Bros, to further pursue his passion and go after his dream. Enjoy!

Arizona Social Media Director Greg Stipp joined us on the Red Couch to talk about getting hired at Dutch, shooting photos for G-Eazy, and how he overcame being bullied at a young age and uses that experience as fuel to conquer new challenges. Greg’s message is to love yourself and don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not good enough. Enjoy!

Drink One For Dane Day is here! And we were fortunate enough to get an over the phone interview with the CEO of the MDA, Lynn O’ Connor Vos. Lynn talks about her history working in the medical field and with other nonprofits, some new discoveries current research has given us in treating ALS, different areas that donated funds go towards, and a whole lot more. As we transition into May, our focus naturally goes towards Drink One For Dane Day. So of course, we had to interview Dane’s first-born child and only daughter, Dana Sawyer. Her and Brant shared some fond memories of the very beginning of Dutch Bros, as well as the impact Dane had on their lives. Enjoy!

As we wrap up our theme in April of company growth, we figured we should get one more new Operator in the books. Danielle Suarez spoke with us about working her way up to Regional Manager in Jackson County, OR to now becoming a Regional Operator for SW Tucson, AZ. Look for that stand to be open on May 17th. Earlier this year, we sat down with Erin Backman to talk about her time in Live Oak as a Regional Operator, and then transitioning to our newest Business Coach for AZ, Vegas, and Southern California. Fast forward to the present where she started that journey and then…...everything changed! So luckily I caught up with her recently to talk about yet another exciting transition she’s going through with DB. Basically, Erin Backman is so amazing, we had to interview her twice! Enjoy!

Then working as a CEO with Jones Soda and Stumptown Coffee. He’s also currently acting as a strategic advisor and board member for Brew Dr. Kombucha, Ninkasi Brewing, and Adelshiem Vineyard. Dutch Bros just opened a brand new shop in Fife, WA today! So we decided to post our episode with the Regional Operator up in Fife, Megan Nymeyer. Megan talks about first getting hired in McMinnville, OR, becoming a manager and then regional manager for Kevin Murphy, how motherhood has helped shape her leadership in the shops, and a whole lot more. As we close out our Mob Madness series, we sat on the Red Couch with the one and only Kate Lonstron! Kate talks about getting hired in Eugene, becoming a Regional Manager, becoming one of the first two Lead Mobsters, becoming the first ever Mob Boss, and then getting her dream job as Regional Operator for Eugene, OR.
