Here is our sixth Afterhour Sounds Podcast mixed by... ...Fähnerich, who was born and raised near Frankfurt a.M.. There he came in touch with electronic Music during the first big Techno Movement in the beginning of the 90´s. In 1999 a close friend tought him how to use the 1210s and he began mixing in every spare second. In 2005 he moved to Munich where he still lives and plays for the Eventseries "Pillowtalk (München)" and his own Project "Zimmerpflanze". Here´s our fith Podcast mixed by... ...Legler&Mellow. Starting in 2007 the young, bavarian born, swedish-swiss DJ duo Legler & Mellow gathered their first experiences on the decks. It did not take long for their passion to flourish after the great attention their first Mixtapes received, leading to their first residency at one of Munich's most popular and established parties at the age of only 15. Legler & Mellow's early success which was driven by the individuality and significancy of their self created sets, was not to be kept in boundaries. In 2011 the gossip was out and Switzerland was the next destination to be mesmerized by their sounds. After playing in Zurich's renowned club Encore, the positive resonance led to venues such as Diagonal and Saint Germain demanding for the duos attention. Here is our fourth Afterhour Sounds Podcast mixed by... ...Marcus Daum, from Bad Kreuznach, who is working as a DJ since 1998. Already in his early years he developed his love for electronic Music. Inspired by the first "HR3 CLUBNIGHT" or "RPR1 MAXIMAL" Radioshows his enthusiasm and passion grew and grew. He used this properties as motivation, to mix his own music and the first little Clubappearances had started. Together with Johannes Döhler he founded "BPM Controlling"- later "Global Groove" . Marcu´s first residency started in 2004 in "Hotel Reiss" in Kassel, where he played with Deejays like "DJ Pierre", "Marky", "Matthias Schaffhäuser and "Der Schmeisser". He also played in clubs like "U60311" in Frankfurt, "Butan Club" in Wuppertal and the old "Palazzo" in Bingen. In 2000 the young man moved to Stuttgart, where he came to the Clubscene the first time.His love for electronic dancemusic grew and grew until he started mixing his own Mixes in his bedroom.That´s why he calls himself not a normal DJ but a "Bedroom Dj". Due to the support of his uncle, he came in touch with music from around the world pretty early, with being influenced most by artists like for among others Marek Hemmann, Aka Aka, Oliver Schories or Stephan Bodzin. With the passion for electronic dance music rising at the age of 14, he bought his first computer to start producing his first tracks with great enthusiasm, and to realize his ideas without limits.
