Club 414 was a trance institution, a trance bolthole in south London. It had a loyal following, a close family atmosphere and is responsible for many many clubbers over its 30 year history. I was lucky enough to DJ at Club 414 frequently for promoters of TranceLucid and Brixton Trance Underground, all I can say is thankyou from the bottom of my heart for the memories, and all the best to the management for all the good memories there. THIS ONE GOES OUT TO YOU.. The Management.. The Promoters.. The DJs I shared the decks with.. and of course.. the clubbers.. These times will never come again.. He's been the driving force and my benchmark - from the ingenuity of using samples to commanding 250,000 strong crowds. In 2018, CamelPhat did a remix of 'Right Here, Right Now', and as much as I respect their work, I have beefed it up, given it a little more energy, more percussion - it sits somewhere between tech house and techno. It also drops a few little other samples on the way to make it my own, in a true Fatboy style. So this is a remix of a remix. A piggy back upon a remix. This. Is. My. Dark. Matter. I am incredibly fortunate to hold a residency at London techno night 'Dark Matter' - This set represents prime techno madness, and indeed what I played on 13/10/18 for their birthday event. Close your eyes, turn up the music and embrace the madness of Dark Matter... MY Dark Matter.

I am a huge fan of the original track; its very sound captivates me to envisage those early morning moments when the world stops and all that exists is immersive sound. The euphoria. The tingle. I NEED to play this track in my sets, however, the original is about 120bpm, and had no tail in to mix with - so I made this version, half remix, half edit.. but all respect paid to the original without compromising its quality. Made for non-profit, but to enable a new generation of clubber to experience 'THAT' moment, because 1991 was a long time ago. Thankyou Orbital. X

Getting things going at any club night is important, you have to set the tone, set the vibe, you need to get people warmed up and prepare them for the main show. Ive been doing warm up slots for most of my career, not because I'm not worthy of the main slot, but because I actively enjoy setting the scene for what could be the best night of your life. The warm up DJ is the one you remember before things become too much of a blur. so this is my trance warm up for you. enjoy.

I wanted to use Moby's track 'Inside' in a recent mixtape, but I felt the original track isn't structured to be used in a mix, so I created a deep / minimal remix to fit with an early / warm up techno set. No offense or infringement intended, just pleased with the way it turned out and wanted to share it with the world. Hope Moby is cool with that; an interpretation of his own work? NOT FOR PROFIT.
