In a special bonus episode of 60 Cycle Hum, Ryan and Steve sit down with Tino from The Changing Stage radio program and talk about their memories of Guitar Trader, a long time San Diego guitar shop. They look at the past and present of the store and talk about the possibilities of the future to emphasize the importance of the continued existence of high quality local music stores.

In Episode 48 of 60 Cycle Hum Ryan and Steve discuss such topics as the Digitech Whammy and Joyo pedals. Then they hit a Craigslist ad for a weird Lyon V-shaped guiat and a Roy Buchanan tribute guitar. Finally they take a topic on themed guitars such as those made by StewMade guitars.

In Episode 47 of 60 Cycle Hum the guys talk about a super hot Telecaster and a crazy looking Dean electric guitar. Then they hit up an article from a certain major public radio outlet about virtuoso musicians and whether or not musicians can be too good. You might be surprised at their response, but you probably won't.

In Episode 46 of 60 Cycle Hum Ryan and Steve talk about a major Craigslist flip project Steve is taking on. Then the guys talk about the MXR Carbon copy, a "Freebird" acoustic guitar, and the magic of Dumble. For this week's topic Ryan and Steve tackle the musical genre that is ska, including discussion of bands, techniques, and general life nostalgia.

In Episode 44 of 60 Cycle Hum Ryan and Steve talk about some sweet buying and selling they've been doing on the gear market. Then they check out someone's tribute to Abraham Lincoln as well as a completely trashed Squier neck. Finally they bringing it home by discussion the acronym OBO and what "Or Best Offer" tells potential buyers about the seller.

In Minisode 4 listeners Coe and Jury demo through a few MXR Blue Boxes. Then Steve drops another movie that didn't make it into the Guitar Movies episode, but definitely should have.

In Episode 42 of 60 Cycle Hum Ryan and Steve talk about a celebrity signed pickguard, a plexiglass pedalboard and weaponized guitars before diving deep into a discussion on guitar and music movies.

In Episode 41 of 60 Cycle Hum Ryan and Steve continue their chat with Daniel Tyack of Salvage Custom Shop. They run through some ads, including a Danelectro display board before fielding a listener question regarding Salvage Custom as a business and things to remember when emailing a small business owner, particularly in the boutique instrument and equipment world.

In Minisode 3 we play a call from Travis. Then Ryan plays a few riffs through an Earthquaker Devices Dirt Transmitter before finishing off the episode with his ancient Zoom 2100.

In Episode 40 Ryan and Steve sit down with Daniel Tyack of Salvage Custom shop. Steve talks about selling an Ampeg bass amp and Daniel talks about the collection of guitars he had laid out on the workshop table. Then the guys all talk about their experience with guitar finishing before taking their first phone call on the new 60 Cycle Hum phone line.

In Episode 39 of 60 Cycle Hum, Ryan and Steve are ANGRY...Steve talks about the Ampeg bass amp he has up for sale and Ryan talks about the Gibson SG he picked up. They talk about classic-styled amps, a SG copy and the Guild X-79. After the usual stuff the guys jump into a discussion on NAMM and their plans for the upcoming winter NAMM show.

In 60 Cycle Hum Minisode 2, Ryan sits down with Paul Stroud, a listener and Gibson employee. They chat about what it's like to work for Gibson and discuss the details surrounding the changes in the 2015 Gibson lineup.

In Episode 38 of 60 Cycle Hum Ryan and Steve talk about an interesting broken pickup Ryan got years ago and his success on selling on Reverb. Also, it's official, we have migrated to Podbean! We then talk about Ovation electric guitars, a weird "Jazzguar" and JS Bach. Finally we jump into the recent Gibson news and talk about what we think about the changes Gibson has made in their revamped product line

In 60 Cycle Hum's first Minisode, Nick Jude brings us a demo of the Fuzzrocious Demon, formerly the Oh See Demon. This drive pedal ranges from the typical low/mid gain OCD tones to some really serious dirty fuzz.

In Episode 37 of 60 Cycle Hum, Steve reminds everyone to vote in the podcast's Big Ear NYC poll and Ryan talks about a Gibson SG he just picked up. The pair sit down with their first female guest host and talk about an 80's Gibson, a Vox single cut guitar and the Fender Mustang bass. Then they take a question from a listener about cultivating female musicians.Also there is lots of giggling going on.
