We're at the mid-point of the NFL season, the trade deadline has come and gone, and the Ravens sit at a surprising 3-5 record that they'll spend the next several months trying to dig their way out of. They got off to a good start of that a week ago tonight when they dispatched of the Dolphins in Lamar Jackson's first game back from injury, but this week poses a different test. The 4-4 Minnesota Vikings are off to a shaky start of their own at 4-4, but are fresh off of a victory over their division rival Lions who are legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Perhaps as inspiring as the win was the fact that their young QB J.J. McCarthy returned from an injury of his own, and led the way with two touchdown passes after some had begun to lose faith in him. The guys fire up the livestream to at long last discuss some Orioles baseball following the dawn of a new era at Camden Yards. The 2025 season was one that was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons, from a miserable start in the opening few months, the in-season firing of Brandon Hyde as a result of it, and the painful (and ultimately unsuccessful) attempt at clawing their way back into playoff contention.
