Polar orchestrated a publicity stunt at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas where three time Olympian, Tim Don, completed a solo Ironman Triathlon in the Venetian pool and on the CES tradeshow floor utilizing a computrainer and treadmill. Polar invited TRS to cover the event.

TRS does The Running Event (TRE) in Austin, TX as well as the FloTrack Beer Mile. TRS interviews Allen Lim of Skratch labs at TRE and Nick Symmonds hours before the beer mile. For the interview, TRS discusses the new $1 million race series in the Middle East and allegations of human rights violations in Bahrain. Following the interview TRS hosts a discussion with Craig Cramer and Eric Swanson regarding human rights, Bahrain and Challenge. 

Chief Asia Pacific Correspondent, Mark Luckin, interviewed Nick Baldwin, Guy Crawford and Christian Kemp at Ironman Western Australia. Dark Mark and TRS discuss Challenge Bahrain, Pete Jacobs, Lava Magazine and more. The Craig Alexander interview starts at (35:00) and was amazing. Finally, Kelly Burns Gallagher and Ryan Heisler discuss some concerning things they've learned about the Ironman Foundation. 

After reviewing some news and events, TRS checks in with Lance Armstrong regarding his memories of Steve Hed. Then, TRS and Dark mark had a great conversation with Ironman Arizona champion Brent McMahon. What does it take to date a model? Was he screwed by Triathlon Canada in 2008? Should he have moved to long course triathlon sooner and can he win Kona in 2015?

Rinny discusses blood doping. Are Tim and Rinny really looking for an additional wife?    Rinny discusses racing the ghost of Chrissy Wellington and whether or not it irritates her to hear that Chrissy Wellington could beat her if she were still racing. Hear Rinny publicly call out Chrissy, challenging her to return to the sport. Finally, the couple plays the Newlywed Game for a chance to win a valuable "prize".   

First Dark Mark and TRS talk about the interview they had just taped, the Men of Triathlon calendar that Mark is trying to get in, what it's like working from home, Team TRS, the upcoming TRS draft, and Mark introduces a new segment called "Too Terrible for Twitter". Then, they interview Ironman Florida Champion, Lionel Sanders, and his coach, Barrie Shepley. Lionel talked about the transition from drugs and partying to professional triathlon. He addressed criticism from Andrew Starykowicz regarding his alleged inability to feel pain. He then broke down his season and plans for the future. Barrie talked about the business of triathlon media and the viability (or lack thereof) of television to promote the sport and enrich the stakeholders.

Matt Bach won the inagural Ironman Maryland. Because there were no professional triathletes in the field, Ironman has refused to use the word "champion" in any of their written coverage of the event. In fact, they didn't even recognize an overall podium for the event. Only in triathlon...
