Bearly On Topic: The Boston Bruins Podcast

This week we mostly focus on the fantastic Lake Tahoe game. Why is Pasta not the face of the NHL? Is Trent Frederic living his best life? Why are we recording on a Monday night? Also, we dip our toes into other NHL waters: Should Eichel be traded? What about McDavid? What do we think of the Artemi Panarin situation? And we talk about the game at the end of tis week. Which will the Bruins win and which will they lose?

In this very special episode, we are met wit a great beast at the 6 minute mark. Mostly, we talk about the games: the Pasta hat trick, the Frederic-Wilson fight (eventually), the gathering of defensemen in the penalty box. Nick is called away. Since the Bruins are facing the New York Rangers, Geoff and VA talk about the Tony DeAngelo situation.

This week we talk about the many games of the week. And the many injuries, known and mysterious.

This week, we talk about how the Bruins have put together 2 wins in a row and have discovered even strength scoring. Those wins over the Flyers were great. We also discuss whether or not it's fine for a player to be great at one aspect of the game and bad at another.

This week, we check in on the Bruins after two games. How's it going? Is it time to panic yet? No, not yet. We're feeling pretty good about the defense but we consider another piece. We also talk about two goaltenders who have recently left the game.

This week, we talk about what the Bruins roster looks like heading into the first week of hockey. Who's filling in for Pasta? What does the defense look like? Will Jeremy Lauzon and Jakub Zboril stay in their spots or be moved around? We'll all find out together.

We return this week frustrated by some of the moves or lack of moves that Don Sweeney orchestrated. Was Zdeno Chara dumped? How much faith do we have in the team right now? We get it all out so we can all move forward.

This week VA and NIck wrap up the Bruins playoffs by talking about the Boston- Tampa Bay series. We're trying to make sense of things in a nonsensical time.

This week, VA wraps up her thoughts on Tuukka leaving the bubble. Nick learns a new word for "terrible person". We conclude our talk about teh first round and move on to the Lightning. Nick likes the matchup, VA is unsure. We send well wishes out to Claude.

This week Nick is flying solo. Mostly he takes on the subject that rocked most BostonBruins fans this week: Tuukka's decision to leave the playoff bubble to return home to his family.

It's time for the Boston Bruins to play games for realz! Their opponent is the Carolina Hurricanes. But we don't talk much about that, instead wrapping up the round-robin/ qualifiers and the 2nd phase of the draft lottery. Next week, we'll talk about nothing but the Canes-B's series. Enjoy the fact that the Leafs are out!

We waited until the Bruins played two games before we recorded again and...well, that was a decision we made. Are we concerned about teh Bruins play? Yep.
