After a dominating win against the Badgers up in Madison, it's high time that the Wildcats #RemoveTheTag and make David Braun the Head Coach moving forward. Northwestern imposed their will against Wisconsin and for all intents and purposes, the game was over at halftime. Now, the Cats return home to play what in all likelihood will be the final game at Ryan Field in its current incarnation.

It was a rock fight at Wrigley Field with Iowa eking out the win with a last second 53 yard FG. We knew Iowa's D was good and good it was. But with 3 winnable games left on the schedule, the Wildcats drive for 6 is still quite alive.

At our tailgate prior to the Maryland game, John had the chance to talk with Walt Versen and Roland Mesa, the Executive Producer and Director respectively of an upcoming documentary about 6 Northwestern Offensive Linemen who found themselves as the security detail for one of the hottest Rock and Roll groups of all time, Queen.

October is over and your Northwestern Wildcats are 4-4. After a great win against Maryland, we look ahead to this weekend's game against Iowa at Wrigley Field where there's a very good chance the final score may be just like a baseball score.

In a game where the NU defense did everything they could to keep the Cats in it, it's a shame that the offense collapsed the way they did. Back breaking penalties, porous protection, and mental mistakes kept Northwestern out of the end zone. Now, with Maryland coming to town, we will see if this team can bounce back and get some momentum going into November.

The annual FCS game can get a little nervey and this year was no different. It was a great day for Homecoming and Northwestern came away with the W. It would be easy to look at this game and see just another Wildcat struggle with an FCS team, but it's not quite that simple.

On paper, it may look grim, but as insane as this offseason has been, we can definitely see several different pathways to success this season.
