No Religion, Just Jesus

Paul is writing this letter from Prison. This is where his life has led him and he shows no signs of stopping. Why would someone do that? Find out as we explore the man behind the ministry.

Why did he do it? Why did Christ shed his blood on the cross? Did he do it to simply clear us of our guilt? Or did he have more in mind? Now we move from the Father's plans to our past. People often do what they can to forget their past. It is can be a source of pain constantly shaping who they are. A past that cannot be dealt with is one desperate to be forgotten. It is just the opposite for the Church. That is because, in Christ, our past has been dealt with completely. In Christ we are Brand New. A past that has been dealt with is a source of victory and relief allow us to revel in who we are today. One of these days The Father is going to gather us home. As the church, we live everyday in the knowledge that no matter how bad life may get it is always going to turn out well for us. We have already learned that in Christ we are blessed, chosen, holy, adopted, and forgiven. But it gets even better because not only has he dealt with our past and present but, in Christ, our future is guaranteed. Listen to find out more about the promise we have in Christ.

Before we can understand what God is doing it is important to understand why he is doing it. The "Why" is vital to understanding the "What". Find out God's ultimate purpose and then think about how it compares to your own. Do you and God have the same "Why"?
