September 2023 marks the 25th anniversary of North Metro Church. In 1998, a group of people felt compelled to start a new thing and those founding members had no idea what God would do over the next 25 years. The Lord has been so kind to North Metro Church, and over the course of this 25th year, we're looking back on stories of all that God has done. Listen along with us!

This week we will look at 2 Samuel 13 and learn more about David's children Absalom, and Tamar, and having passivity toward sin. ***MATURE CONTENT WARNING*** In 2 Samuel 13, we encounter an instance of sexual assault. We feel this subject needs to be discussed in the text, and we don’t want to avoid or go around it. However, if this is a sensitive subject for you, we wanted to demonstrate care in our communication. We believe this is an important subject and are grateful to speak biblical truth, conviction, and righteousness into the matter. We intend to pastor people towards healing and hope in Jesus.

This Sunday is the conclusion of our Hunger Revival at NMC. This morning we will learn that God has given us all we need for life and godliness...the only thing we need to do is show up!

For night three of Hunger Revival, NMC Staff led us in times of prayer, worship, and communion, focusing on the tenants of A.C.T.S - Adoration, Confess, Thanksgiving, and Supplication.

Guest Speaker Dr. Will Gravely from Refuge Church joined us for night two of our Hunger Revival. Will Gravely challenged us to hunger for God's power and looked at the passage in Matthew 10.

Guest Speaker Miles Fidell from Auburn Community Church joined us for night one of our Hunger Revival. Miles offered a new perspective on the familiar story of Daniel and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the book of Daniel.

We are involved in relationships everywhere we go; in our family, work, church, and neighborhoods. Jesus has placed us there to minister and care for those people, but relationships can be complex, and gaps can form. So we will be looking at some of Jesus’ teachings that, when applied, will help us mind the potential gaps in our relationships so that we have no regrets about how we treat and interact with others.

In this Father's Day message, we look to the truth that The Lord is also known as our Father. In this, we will discuss how we can find father, family, and adoption language all throughout the Bible to describe the Lord's character and our relationship with Him.
