We will look at God's all-people missionary purposes beginning in the Old Testament right through the New Testament. “He Came to Fill the Silence”   Michael Lodge, Speaking Pastor   Tomorrow is the day we have been waiting for.  But what will happen when all the traditions, activities, presents, and meals are over? Advent of Peace   Zac Price, Student Ministries Pastor   Shalom means Peace in the Old Testament; which means whole or complete. We will be looking at the life of Joseph and Mary and realizing that their season before Jesus was born was lacking Shalom. We will be unpacking the scriptures and bring to light that Jesus is our ultimate Shalom and that he restores us back to wholeness with God. Why? Our Hearts are Broken   Michael Lodge, Speaking Pastor   The wrath of God is upon us because of our sinful hearts! Not an exciting message… but something we need to hear. We can not know the good news without understanding the bad news. We can not respond to amazing grace if we don’t see how broken and undeserving we are. This passage is often used to point out other peoples sin. The Gospel Calls us to Be ALL IN   Michael Lodge, Speaking Pastor   When we read Romans through the filter of our personal salvation story we miss the point of the letter. The Gospel we find in the letter of Romans is bigger, deeper, and more powerful than just a brief outline of salvation. As Paul writes this letter he unfolds the truth that the Gospel is a timeless encounter between the God of the universe and sinful humanity that can’t help but pull the reader into the story of the transformative pursuit of the Gospel. There is always something to be offended by, angry about, or passionately debating with all our enemies and friends. But is that the way Jesus leads us to live? Today we deconstruct the thought that we are commanded to live in righteous anger. At closer inspection we find Paul calling us to live the unoffendable life Jesus molded for us.
