 In the first chapter of Jesus's Sermon on the Mount he repeats the phrase "but I say" several times. What follows is always a call to more than we would ever call ourselves to.

Jesus's invitation to pray deeply, live generously, worry less, forgive more, and so much more are all dependent upon us hearing his words and living them out. Today we listen...and live. This is "solid foundation" living.

Last week we started the One Another Series. Today we look at the one “One Another” that begins them all! Jesus gave the command to Love One Another to the Disciples to define them and the Church for the rest of time. 2,000 years later this command still challenges us. This One Another is the brand that defines us within the Church and to the world around us. We can’t practice any One Another without first understanding how to Love One Another.

Are you suffering from O.A.D? One Another Deprivation? Then this series is for you and everyone else that follows Jesus! We Need One Another! All through the scriptures we are told to love one another in many different ways. Today we start the series by looking at the churches historical need for the "One Another's" and why we need them today!

June 14th, 2020 Galatians - Galatians 5:16-25 There is a battle that rages in each of us between the flesh and the spirit. As we walk in step with the Spirit we will overcome the flesh and produce the fruit of the spirit.

May 31st, 2020  The Gospel is good news! We have been saved from an old life and adopted into a new family. With that family comes a new family name! Jesus wants to change not only you but your future family line as well! He changes us to change the future. Join us as we study Paul's analogy of our family name.

As followers of Jesus our path is always before us and never behind. Our eyes stay focused on Christ and our identity in Him. This leads us to a life spent loving God, living out the good news, and sharing the gospel wherever God leads us. The gospel is what we love, we live, and we give. What has become of the gospel in you and your identity in Christ?

Galatians 3:25 - 4:7 Pastor Michael Lodge When we understand our identity as an adopted child of God everything in our life changes! Jesus gives us the Spirit of adoption by which we cry out “Abba”! We now have a new motivation for living life. We get to bear the resemblance of our Father. We have assurance, intimacy, freedom, and an inheritance! When we connect with our lives as children of God we find an exciting new identity to live out!

We are overwhelmed with abundance and resources in life. It’s easy to live as if we don’t really need God. Jesus calls us to Fast for the King’s agenda. In fasting we remind ourselves of our great need for God and our need to fall in line with Him. This is a means of grace that He uses to draw us into His presence.

January 19, 2020 Love People: Life is Better Together John Reynolds, Senior Associate Pastor Though we did not deserve it God loved us and sent his Son to show us how much loved us. Our response, as followers of Jesus, can't help but be to share that same love with others. Loving People is the natural expression of God’s love for us. What should that look like in our church? If I’m living the L3 Life what does Loving People really look like?

We want to go into the new decade ready to Love God, Love People, and Live Generously.  L3 is who we are at Cascade Church!  We want it to be more than a slogan.  We want L3 to be the life we each live.  Over the next four weeks we will explore what each of these statements mean and how we can live the L3 Life!

We have a better understanding of who we are when we discover WHY we are.  Today we hear more of our history as a Church and Denomination and discover why we are the Church we have become.  The real "WHY we are" Cascade is anchored in our commitment to Love God!  So how do we start to Love God in our personal lives?  Everything in our life is anchored to our ability to Love God more deeply.

Today we are looking at a story of one of the tribes in Israel and how they compromised in their call and didn't go in to possess their promised land. We will see the lessons we can learn from their mistakes and aim to be better ready for what God has in the future for us to do.
