Player Vs. Podcast

PVPCast hits the big 4-0, but we’ve got no time for a midlife crisis! Josh, Alexander, Chris, and Sarah cover a ton of games this week including Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, City Skylines, Mortal Kombat X, Fallout 4, To Be Or Not To Be: A Choose Your Own Hamlet Adventure, and Titan Souls. After the jump the gang discusses the free game of the week, Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist (apparently we’ve got a long game title theme this week). Finally we get into some Stars Wars discussion (SPOILERS), a little anime, a little comic books, and an improv tabletop game called Fiasco. We are Homesickened this week, not because we drank too much wine (cough cough Sarah), but because that is literally the name of our free game of the week. The spooky choose-your-own-adventure antics of digital Hayden Panettiere in Until Dawn lead to thoughts on endings in decision heavy games. Podcast nears its 30th episode, we finally spread our wings and fly without Papa Josh (and cousin Tony).  Chris talks Never Alone and multiplayer fun with The JackBox Party Pack and Splatoon, Sarah covers the long awaited Broken Age: Act 2, and Alexander returns to the Minecraft camp he missed out on as a child. Everyone discusses our GOTW, The Writer Will Do Something, and preps for next episode’s game, The End of Journey. It's 2015, guys. Woo. Problem is, January is such a bad month for videogames. At least last year we had Flappy Bird to talk about! In this 24th episode of Player Vs.
