Where is God in suffering? Right in the middle of it! Paden has taken some well deserved time off, so this week, our Community Director, Drew Barker filled in for him to finish up our study in the Book of Ruth. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We did something wildly different this last week. We read through the entire book of Ruth together with Paden giving us short exhortations between each chapter to anchor us in the narrative and cultural context. We hope that experiencing Ruth's story will not only inspire you but challenge you to consider the idea that God is present in every aspect of our lives. And yes, that even means our suffering.

This concludes our series through Titus as we explore what it means for a community to rally around hope.

This is our second week into our series on Titus: Truth to Transform a Town. Here are a few questions to work through as you listen: Paul is telling us that healthy churches meet the needs of our community.  Are we a church and individuals that meet the needs of Brady? Where are you doing this well, and where can you grow? Read Titus 1:6-8 together. This is not just a call to the leaders of the church but a call to all believers. How does this make you feel? Where do you tend to add to the gospel? Jesus + what? Break into guys and girls and talk through the areas you need to repent. (This is new and scary for many of our people, but we want model repenting and believing the gospel to our people.

We're starting a new series to cap off our year exploring what it means to be a healthy church. Join us over the next four weeks as we move through Paul's letter to Titus in Crete, a town known for being rough around the edges and stereotyped as an island of liars. Essentially, the letter is asking, what does it look like for a church shaped by the good news of Jesus to not only exist in these kinds of places but also be a transformative force in the culture at large.

Continuing our series, "Why Church", we talk about why Redeemer Church has membership, why we do it the way we do it, and most of all, why it is important for believers to plug themselves into the Family of God.
