A one night stand leads to a life-changing experience in which photographs become the catalysts for the creation and destruction of an unusual family. Michael Griggs has been working in the theater for the past forty-four years as a director, actor, and producer. He is the former Artistic Director of the New Rose Theatre and the Portland International Performance Festival. He recently retired from the position of Executive Director at Portland Taiko. When Joseph was younger he felt that he was very smart and that rules were merely suggestions meant for testing, if not for breaking. He created a whole philosophy around shoplifting. That philosophy led to many detours and misadventures. The first tenet in the philosophy of stealing is pretty simple -- don't get caught.
