It's amazing that we worship a god who speaks, a god who has chosen to reveal Himself to us as His cr

We are in week three of our sermon series Committed. We've been talking about the essential habits of an abundant life in Christ, and what I've been saying over these last couple of weeks is we're taking this time to focus on some of the essential, non-negotiable, super practical commitments that every Christian must make in order to grow in their faith, in order to persevere through trials, in order to fulfill God's purpose and calling for their life, and in order to experience and to enjoy this abundant life that Jesus Christ came to give us. Two weeks ago, we started off by talking about the commitment to follow Jesus as our Lord, as our savior, as our good shepherd. Last week we talked about committing to a local church and the importance of hav

While we do your good will, you abide with us still, and with all who will trust and obey, and in fellowship suite, we will sit at your feet, or we will walk by your side in the way. What you say we will do, and where you send, we will go. Never fear, only trust and obey. Jesus, I pray that you would help our minds to understand, and our hearts, to believe that true happiness is found in you. The good life, that we are all long for, that we're all after, a life of purpose and meaning of peace and joy and fulfillment, it is offered to all who commit to follow Jesus Christ, to walk with you and the obedience of faith that we've just studied over the last year in the b

It's great to see everyone all together at one service and especially to have the families, kids and parents together. This is fun. This is exciting. I love this. This is great. So happy New Year everyone. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Tyler. I am, as pastor Randy mentioned, the youth, the teens, and the hospitality director here at Mosaic. And it is my honor and privilege to be able to be up here preaching God's word to all of us today. And over the Christmas holiday break, I had the opportunity to go down to visit my family in Virginia and attend church with them on Christmas. And that was fun. It was exciting. It was great to be able to fellowship and worship with another gospel preaching and faithful church. And it's just fun. It's fun to be abl

I'll introduce it, we'll read the text and then we will pray and continue. But we are in chapter 15, the second to last chapter. We're not reading the whole chapter. Verses one through 21 is where we will be. And the first part of this chapter, Paul is sort of summarizing what we talked about last week, what he talked about in the last chapter, but then he is connecting it to his summary of the book as a whole. Paul is starting to wrap up, remind us of everything that Paul has been trying to say in this letter to the church in Rome. So, if you remember, I mentioned last week, but also way back in the beginning of the series, we talked about how Paul's purpose in writing the book of Ro

Lord, we thank you for this sovereign timing. We pray that you speak to us now and continue to shape our minds by the renewing of your Word, with the washing of water with the Word. Lord, there are manmade categories in our minds. I pray that you break through them with the power of your holy Word. For each one of us, Lord, we pray that you give us an extra measure of grace to continue to humble ourselves before your kingship so that we do submit every single aspect of our lives to King Jesus. We pray all this in Christ's name, amen. On this November 13th, we find ourselves in Romans 13:1-7. The historical cont

We thank You for the way that You oftentimes bless the work of our hands. And we thank You that there are also times where You just flex, where You do miracles, where You do the impossible right before our eyes. You take our fish and our loaves and You miraculously multiply them, our efforts, our energy, our resources, in order to do more than we could ask or even imagine. That is the God that You are. And God we pray that Your sovereign will would be done in this situation and that by Your grace, we would just continue to be used by You as Your church, as Your witnesses here in the city. God, we also pray right now for the preaching of Your Word. Our word
