Christ-reme Love - what does it mean? It means taking the gospel seriously. It means following Jesus' commands simply and without dissembling. Christ's love meant the cross, and he calls us to deny self, take up our cross and follow him. Seeking first the Kingdom and his righteousness will fulfill all our dreams beyond what we could do or plan. Becoming love, as God is love, is Christ-reme Love. We will look to Christ, and those who have followed his call for inspiration to Love as He loved.

The Kingdom of Heaven is one that that is established, maintained and advanced by the service performed by its citizens. From the Lord Jesus to the least of His subjects. The positions of highest honor are reserved for those who are the humblest servants. It would be easy to think of those who've given their all-even their lives in service, as Extreme Servants. But there is a different "extreme" a X-treme to which a Christian's service goes - an inward effect upon our own soul, by all that we do for others. Mentoring is a key piece of our Christian walk. While not directly called out in scripture, examples of it appear across the New Testament as the primary means of training and growth for the apostles. This Sunday we'll look at the power of mentoring, its role in our Christian walk, and the challenges and principles for mentoring someone or being mentored yourself. Tim will show how mentoring played a major role for Barnabas, Paul, and Timothy in each of their ministries.

What makes this commission "great" is that it is an imperative from our King and Lord to "make disciples?" All that we do as Christian people and as Christian churches is to be focused on this end! Those whom Jesus has made His disciples are to make others, His disciples. Faith, Evangelism, and even Salvation itself is only a step in the process of being and making disciples because making disciples is our calling and goal. What can we learn from Jesus' birth until the Magi visited Him. We can learn much about out Father in Heaven by how he directed and worked with the Magi. As we move from our 2013 theme of Climbing Higher to the 2014 challenge of Discipleship, David will also address the idea of "being the one". is it? Where is it? When will it begin? Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since our ancestors died all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation. (2 Peter 3:4) Have you ever found yourself weary of waiting for Christ's return? Or maybe you are secretly hoping that he doesn't come for a while because you are satisfied with the status quo. We will be discussing this dilemma this Sunday morning. We will also be talking about the Kingdom of God. What is it? Where is it? When will it begin? Or has it already begun?

One of the best known and most dramatic stories of a person's conversion is that of Saul of Tarsus which can be found in Acts 9:1-18. Do you ever wonder what happened to Saul after his conversion and why he made such a incredible change of direction in his life? His life is a fantastic example for us! The question we must ask ourselves is, did we change when we were converted? Join Larry as he explores Saul's conversion and it lessons for us.

To his beloved Philippian brothers and sisters, Paul wrote, "this one thing I do". Not "a hundred things I start" or "these 10 things I try", but "this ONE thing I do". Paul was a focused individual and he encourages us to be focused too! He brought all his being to bear into pursuit of this "one thing". All his energy is put into pressing toward his goal. Maybe you struggle with having or maintaining this focus, this 'one thing.' Join Joe as he shares not his own struggles but also the potential our victorious life we can have in Christ Jesus.

There may come a season when we hit a dry spell and the trees are slowly withering and their roots cry for water. Where life seems to stay the same. Yet we want change but don't know how. We feel empty inside, but can't put the finger on the need. But seasons change, and the trees will grow and bear fruit. Where we'll find refuge in our Awesome God as we surrender all. Seasons of change are found throughout the Bible. Come as we explore the concept together, "Seasons Change"

Elijah was a great prophet. Elisha was his disciple. Elisha picked up Elijah's mantle and wanted the authority and power of his master. He wanted to be Elijah's successor. 2 Kings 2:23-24 (KJ): "And he went up thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them." What happened here? How does this fit in with Elisha's ministry? What is the lesson in this incident for us?

Our series on the mind and capturing our thoughts has raised our awareness of the need for Focus, Discipline, Training, and taking Responsibility for the thoughts and intents of our mind. All of which, anointed by the Holy Spirit and enabled by Grace, lay the foundation upon which we construct a faithful life. But whatever we gain, how ever much we grow, it can be undone by lack of Vigilance. No matter how strong, we are the most vulnerable when we are the least vigilant.
