  • The Week Catorce Show (Regular Season Week 14, 2017)

    06/12/2017

¡Bienvenido a la semana catorce! Deja que Fútbol American de Fantasía Fiesta te prepare para la postemporada. Okay, Baxter, we know you don't speak Spanish; no worries, we recorded most of the show in English (which many times is like a second language to 2V). In what is clearly the biggest week of the season thus far Dusty, Ned and Lucky cover all the news that fits into your listening device and break down how it could impact your fantasy fortunes. There was the usual drafting of 50/50 teams, immediate regrets and some downright sobering final thoughts. Plus, 2V opined how interstate relationships could impact the Eagles defensive line, Bo wondered how many Kennys he had in him (turns out it was only dos), and Maggio spent the entire Week 14 show looking forward to Weeks 15 and 16; what a progressive! The Week Catorce show ran the gamut from Seals & Crofts to Ricky Seals-Jones, with multiple stops in between. Listen now, before you're out of the playoffs and forced to spend your spare time shopping in m

  • Triskaidekaphobia and turning down the Tennessee job (Regular Season Week 13, 2017)

    29/11/2017

Warning: Listening to this podcast may cause you to spit-take your beverage of choice, or at least that was the case for Magsh; please step back from your electronic device. The FF Party-goers fought off triskaidekaphobia to deliver the Week 13 podcast in all its glory, including Bo's assessment of Eli Manning's benching, 2V's stat-based analysis of Josh Gordon's lengthy absence, and Magsh admiring the stamina required for the record setting length of this podcast. There were also 50/50 teams drafted (see the rosters below), copious news and notes, and a flurry of insightful breakdowns from Aqib Talib's post-fight press conference. And, in case you were wondering, no worries: Bo, Magsh and 2V all turned down the Tennessee coaching job. You won't listen to a more emollient podcast this week, that we can guarantee. So hit play, then move quickly as far away from your computer as your headphone cord allows.50/50 LINEUPS FOR WEEK 132V: Case Keenum, Josh Doctson, Jermaine Kearse, Julius Thomas, Zay Jones, Josh Lamb

  • Flu Game and trusting the process (Regular Season Week 11, 2017)

    15/11/2017

If it's Week 11 that means it's time for the annual reprise of Bo's "flu game", and the venerable one was as gritty and gutty as ever--though he staunchly refused to accept 2V's science that the alcohol in beer was an internal disinfectant. The boys pulled the usual shenanigans--more cheeky and fun than cruel and tragic--including breaking down all the relevant fantasy news and drafting 50/50 teams in the vain pursuit of ending 2V's dominant run. Plus Magsh trusted his process, Bo covered his mouth when he coughed and 2V stood funny while rejoicing in the return of Danny Woodhead and the upcoming Eddie George "Football Life". It was standing-room only at Union 32, but we recorded everything for posterity--and for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own listening space.Twitter handles for you to enjoy:@TheFFParty@MplsMaggio@Bo_Mitchell@jtuveyGrab your spot in the FF Party Listener League at Fanball:https://www.fanball.com/contests/AoHVyThe FF Party would like to thank the following show sponsors: Union 32 Craf

  • The Turkey Hole Show (Regular Season Week 12, 2017)

    15/11/2017

Thanksgiving weekend-- or Week 12, as fantasy footballers call it-- kicked off with a glorious edition of the FF Party podcast recorded live at the hoppin' Union 32 Craft House in Eagan, Minnesota. Not only did your favorite Party- goers draft their 50/50 squads and break down all the relevant fantasy news, Magsh completely forgot to mention that Carson Palmer and David Johnson aren't progressing as expected and won't return this season. Plus 2V's wife showed up to commiserate with the other hosts, Bo pleaded for sanity and net neutrality (which you're currently enjoying just by reading this), and Magsh showed us over and over again where to find the turkey hole. It's too late to be the first on your block to hear this gem, but if you act now you certainly won't be the last.Twitter handles for you to enjoy:@TheFFParty@MplsMaggio@Bo_Mitchell@jtuveyGrab your spot in the FF Party Listener League at Fanball:https://www.fanball.com/contests/AoHVyThe FF Party would like to thank the following show sponsors:Union 32

  • Rudderless and Rodgers-less (Regular Season Week 10, 2017)

    08/11/2017

The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules or took a few liberties with our Union 32 guests. We did. But Magsh didnt try to draft any non-qualifiers in 50/50, Bo spelled regerts correctly, and 2V actually drank all the beers in his fantasy flight. The FF Party-goers also broke down copious injury situations, opined on what to do with the rudderless (and Rodgers-less) Packers offense, and sampled the banana bread french toast sticks; yes, they were as awesome as they sound. Plus, the most annoying sound in the world was eliminated from the background of the podcast-- and no, that doesnt mean 2V got the heave-ho. Though he did manage to get syrup on the table, his computer, and Bo even though Bo did not partake in the bananaey goodness.Twitter handles for you to enjoy:@TheFFParty@MplsMaggio@Bo_Mitchell@jtuveyGrab your spot in the FF Party Listener League at Fanball:https://www.fanball.com/contests/AoHVyThe FF Party would like to thank the following show sponsors:Union 32 Craft House (@U32CraftHouse) - A

  • Byepocalypse II: Nothing Good Can Come of This (Regular Season Week 9, 2017)

    01/11/2017

Who's got it better than the Fantasy Football Party? Nobody's got it better than the Fantasy Football Party! The Week 9 show at Union 32 featured a raucous studio audience, Game 7 of the World Series on the big screen, and all the fantasy football goodness necessary to help you survive Byepocalypse II: Nothing Good Can Come of This. There was yet another 50/50 draft, deep analysis of the Eagles backfield situation, and a whiteboard bet as to Alfred Morris' success (or lack thereof) in relief of the suspended (for now) Ezekiel Elliott. Plus 2V got his JuJu on but refused to share his beer with his co-hosts, Bo talked about yet another lesson he didn't learn, and Magsh pressed a bunch of buttons and knobs to make us all sound better than we actually did. Seriously, you can't get this kind of fantasy analysis anywhere else. • Fullest House (Regular Season Week 8, 2017)

    25/10/2017

We had a full house at Union 32 for the Week 8 FF Party podcast. No, we werent joined by Bob Saget, John Stamos, or noted theater-goer Dave Coulier, though we will neither confirm nor deny that the Olsen Twins stopped by. What did we do to entertain the masses? Regretted recommending Marcus Mariota, Giovani Bernard and Austin Hooper, broke down all the news we could cram between the speakers, and let Bo grab Maggios Smallwood in the 50/50 draft. While you may want to fast-forward to the end to see how it all played out (spoiler alert: despite aggressively attacking this weeks Fantasy Flight 2V was able to clearly enunciate JuJu Smith-Schuster at closing time), we highly recommend listening to the entire show for stat nuggets, juvenile humor and fantasy insight you cant find anywhere else. Just press play!Twitter handles for you to enjoy:@TheFFParty@MplsMaggio@Bo_Mitchell@jtuveyGrab your spot in the FF Party Listener League at Fanball:https://www.fanball.com/contests/AoHVyThe FF Party would like to thank the f

  • Bo's Sermon (Regular Season Week 7, 2017)

    19/10/2017

It was a late night for the FF Party podcast due to high school football, but the gang persevered-- in no small part because there was beer. You were also treated to Bo'ssermon on trade vetoes, Magsh confusing his Chris Thompson with his other Chris Thompson, and 2V putting his foot in his mouth so many times he's still picking toenail fragments out of his gums. Plus the boys drafted their 50/50 teams, ran through a copious amount of injuries, and managed to squeeze in an adult beverage or three. You won't want to miss a single second of this action-packed small yet solid after dark extravaganza!Twitter handles for you to enjoy:@TheFFParty@MplsMaggio@Bo_Mitchell@jtuveyGrab your spot in the FF Party Listener League at Fanball:https://www.fanball.com/contests/AoHVyThe FF Party would like to thank the following show sponsors:-Union 32 Craft House (@U32CraftHouse) - Ask for the FF Party special, which includes two growlers and five pounds of wings for just $75. • Triage Report (Regular Season Week 6, 2017)

    12/10/2017

Kick off your Thursday with the Week 6 edition of the FF Party podcast! From a full triage report on what's left of the Giants' receiving corps to immediate regrets that don't involve Jay Cutler (for a change) to a 50/50 draft that's heavy on tight ends and light on pretty much everything else, it's an action-packed show you'll tell your grandkids about. Plus Magsh breaks down DFS baseball (on purpose), Bo celebrates the return of the Big Island Blonde to the beer wall, and 2V gives a detailed explanation (with diagrams) of how the Eagles will hold out Johnson, probably stash their Smallwood, and insert Cox into their prime time lineup Thursday.Twitter handles for you to enjoy:@TheFFParty@MplsMaggio@Bo_Mitchell@jtuveyGrab your spot in the FF Party Listener League at Fanball:https://www.fanball.com/contests/AoHVyThe FF Party would like to thank the following show sponsors: Union 32 Craft House (@U32CraftHouse) - Ask for the FF Party special, which includes two growlers and five pounds of wings for just $75. • London regrets and the bye week (Regular Season Week 5, 2017)

    06/10/2017

Four teams go on the bye and Magsh has new sounders! Yes, it's Week 5 FF Party style and the gang have everything you need to set your winning lineups. There's news and notes, immediate regrets (we're looking at you, Jay in Miami), and a 50/50 draft that will both shock and amaze even the most ardent of fantasy football denizens. Plus, Magsh cheats and struggles to identify movies, 2V flirts with FCC regulations and Bo tries to maintain a stiff upper lip. Trust us, it'll be the best fantasy football podcast you laugh through this week.Twitter handles for you to enjoy:@TheFFParty@MplsMaggio@Bo_Mitchell@jtuveyGrab your spot in the FF Party Listener League at Fanball:https://www.fanball.com/contests/AoHVyThe FF Party would like to thank the following show sponsors: Union 32 Craft House (@U32CraftHouse) - Ask for the FF Party special, which includes two growlers and five pounds of wings for just $75. • Confessions, Dominance, and a lot of movie sounders (Regular Season Week 3, 2017)

    21/09/2017

The Week 3 edition of The Fantasy Football Party podcast celebrates American football's independence from boring sports like soccer as we send the Ravens and Jags to London for an exhibition. That debacle aside Bo, Magsh and 2V confess their regrets, break down all the fantasy-relevant news heading into Week 3, and have fun with movie sounders. Plus, Bo and 2V attempt to bring down Magsh in 50/50, fresh beer from Union 32 is consumed and 2V does the entire show in a poor British accent. And by "entire show" we mean he gives up after the first couple of minutes. The FF Party would like to thank the following show sponsors: Union 32 Craft House (@U32CraftHouse) - Ask for the FF Party special, which includes two growlers and five pounds of wings for just $75.
