This week, I continue with part two looking at the "Children's Hour" programming from the thirties and forties. The hour between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM was sometimes called the Children's Hour because of its weekday programs dedicated to the kid's serials. This week: Captain Midnight and Little Orphan Annie.

This week we look at the series NBC called "tales of High Adventure." In the early 1950's they produced a series that was very similar to the CBS serial Escape in theme. They called it High Adventure. Many of the episodes weren't bad, just too late to save dramatic radio.

A classic series about the fox and the hound, the hunter and hunted. NBC presents the adventure serial, The Chase. I look at this rather good adventure drama from the early 1950's.

This week we set sail to Havana on a Bold Adventure with Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. We find ourselves in a hunt for the Quan Yin Statue.

Our Radio Adventures takes us to the China Coast in search of Pirates as we travel with The Man Called X! Herbert Marshall Stars. Running Time: approximately 33 minutes.

Return with us to another episode from ESCAPE. This time we find ourselves in the back alleys of Mozambique as we try to escape from death! Running time: 32 minutes.
