Today Pastor Continues to teach from the Book of Romans, specifically on Chapter 2-4. In this installment, we learned that observing laws and traditions will NOT earn you any righteousness. In fact, the law is rather useless, even if one circumcises. Learn this incredible way to have right standing with God OUTSIDE the LAW! Not just on the day when you were saved, but for the rest of your life, the rest of eternity!

This week we started the indepth study on the Book of Romans. Without the book of Romans, Christianity would be rather different. This is the book that has established many foundational beliefs in the Christian faith. Listen, learn and grow with this study.

Today Pastor Paul shared about the 3 conditions that are necessary for any breakthrough, especially spiritual breakthrough. He is calling believers to become discontent with the current spiritual condition and seek for new spiritual breakthrough in their personal lives, for the sake of the next generation and even the city we are living in. Because where we are at IS NOT OK, there is more, much more.

So many people have the wrong idea about their God. Most cannot relate to Him as their Father. At best they tend to project their experiences of their earthly father (or the lack of) onto God. In this father's day message, Pastor Paul spoke of the many wrong images of God that even Christians have in their heart, and what the Bible says about those wrong images. It is our hope that you'd discover your Heavenly Father who is absolutely loving, gracious and kind.

Only God can justify (no one else, not even yourself or those religious leaders). Only God can glorify. Yes, He wants to glorify you, but only He can glorify you (or make you glorious). This week, we learned why God wants to make us glorious, and how we will be made glolrious.

All believers are called to the life of conquest. To succeed in all our conquests, there are three things that we must absolutely pay attention to.

Today we learned how pruning is such a critical process for us to become more fruitful (ie: more of our prayers being answered). If you are in a season of "pruning", it is not a set back, but it is a season when God is setting you up to become more fruitful than you have ever been.

Today Pastor Marlhys shared about God's calling us to enter the new stage of our life. But we need to know that there will always be obstacles to our next stage. Using the example of Jacob, Pastor Marlhys shares about how God leads us to Enter A New Stage of life and see His promises fulfilled in our lives.

In this concluding series, we are told that the litmus test of our spiritual maturity (as oppose to being a child with no power but just following rules) is in our prayers being answered! You can have all the knowledge of the law, rules and regulations or you can have all the Bible memorized, but they do make you spiritually mature!

Continue on the thought of being true heir from last Sunday's sermon (Enjoying Our Inheritance By Grace) Pastor Paul encourages us to not keep relying only on 'milk', as it is for babe, but move on to solid food. You see, babes are always going be treated like slaves: following rules with no authority or power. Full grown son who eats solid food, however, do not need to follow rules, but have power and authority.

Do you know that God has already given ALL that He has (not all that you need, but all that He has), yet like a slave we still living as slaves, subjected to all the challenges of the world (like everybody). Today, Pastor Paul shared about why as sons many of us are still like slaves, and how you can actually enter into that sonship through GRACE!

Jesus made many promises that would give us an amazing life. These promises are all true because of His Resurrection (otherwise all His promises are not true.) These promises require nothing from us, but just to receive them, and begin an amazing fresh start for our lives. Today Pastor Paul shared about the stories of 4 individuals and their struggles, and how they got their fresh start from Jesus.

Pastor Steve today spoke about a very important topic on worship: "The road to the cross is the road of praise and worship"

All the sacrifices in the Old Testament reveal the various benefits available through Holy Communion. This week, Pastor Paul shares about the incredible benefits of Holy Communion revealed through the prophetic feasts of the Passover and the Feast of the Unleavened Bread.

Continuing the thought on the Substance of Faith, Pastor Paul zeroed in on the great importance of Obedience in our walk with God. Obedience is an essential substance to bring about faith in what we hope for. Yet obedience is such a "dirty" word in our society, even in church. While there had been many abuses by those in authority and power, the virtue of obedience is nonetheless critical to our faith. Learn how your obedience can bring about great miracles even without trying!

There is a great confusion about wishful thinking, human faith and spiritual or biblical faith. In this teaching, Pastor spoke about the two ingredients required for real faith, otherwise it would just be a hope and a wish, or as he puts it, a wishful thinking.

Today we discovered that faith without endurance is actually worthless and can't accomplish much. It is with perseverance in faith that we are lacking nothing. But in all afflictions and troubles, God will cause you to forget about your pain, and more importantly cause you to be fruitful.

In any given circumstance, what do you see? Which eye did you use to see? What you see will determine the course of your own life and for the generations after you. Learning to see with the right eye will bring fulfillment of dreams and destiny. Seeing with the wrong eye will result in great bitterness, disappointment and unfulfilled life. What do you see today?

Adversity may be hard, and we all try to avoid it. But adversity, from the eye of faith, is an opportunity to triumph. In the Bible we see many incredible examples of how adversity brought amazing victory to those who embrace it by the power and the promise of God.
