Eve Harow speaks with PhD candidate Tira’el Cohen about Kedma the organization she and other young women founded a decade ago. The goal is to build resilience in Israeli border communities, meaning those designated by the government as national priority, by bringing in young people aged 18-35. Some join on student stipends, others as young adults and young families who volunteer to strengthen the village. On October 6th Kedma worked in 96 towns including in Yehuda and Shomron; since then some of the northern and southern ones have been displaced or destroyed. Tira’el recounts the events of October 7th- the friends murdered, the devastation and the recommitment of the Kedma participants to the people whose lives were forever changed. Virtually no other mission or tourists to Israel are going into the Biblical Heartland, which is another type of victory for the evil ones. An unforgettable week which ended with a visit to the famous Rachel of Ofakim whose street smarts saved her and her husband from the terrorists who took them hostage on October 7th. I sat down recently to speak with Gidon Ariel in his beautiful home in the Hills of Hevron. We began to speak about his childhood when he hit me with a 2-by-4 (figuratively). Turns out he made Aliyah at the age of 14. No, not with his family. By himself! This was a fun one, with lots of thoughts from Gidon on the importance of living in the land, and what it means to have a geula – redemption - mentality.

The United States on Tuesday vetoed an Algerian-sponsored U.N. Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. On today's Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten says that the Biden administration is playing both sides of the fence. The veto is appreciated, but at the same time the U.S. continues to call for the establishment of a P.A. state which would be a win for Hamas, while also voicing concern over a necessary military operation in Rafah. Israel insists that it will continue full steam ahead until Hamas is defeated and the hostages are brought home.

On today's Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten shares how yesterday in Gush Etzion a knife-wielding terrorist, initially using his car as a weapon to try and ram into Israeli civilians and soldiers, was neutralized by Israeli security forces. Josh heard shots outside his window from just 50 meters away, and realized a security event was taking place. Thanks to alert security patrolmen, the terrorist, who was hoping to get out of his car and stab any Jew in sight after his failed ramming-attempt, didn't get the chance. On today's Israel Uncensored, exactly four months since the October 7 massacre, Josh Hasten says Israel will win the war against Hamas. Media reports indicate that the Hamas stronghold of Khan Yunis is on the verge of falling, and Israel will then destroy the remaining Hamas terrorist bases and bring those whose life mission is to destroy the Jewish State to justice (one way or another). Josh also thanks Argentinian president Javier Milei for visiting Israel during these difficult times showing his country's support. With so many other nations showing their animosity for Israel and the Jewish People, it's good to have friends.
